  First off, I was banned by JACK THA RIPPA for 1 week in a sit for a revenge kill/breaking nlr on a person named Sharingan Frank (I will attach an image of my ban below.) My name is Wendy's on Steam and I was banned around 12:00 pm EST on 3/7/2018. I do believe that I was banned for a false amount of time, because the Moderator that was handling my sit was biased. He seemed to take the opposing party's side immediately and he seemed to already have it out for me before I even spoke a word. I was banned for 1 week for "Revenge Killing" (The rule for which I added below)
• If the player killed the person for "Revenge RDM" because they are angry they lost then it should result in a 24 hour - 3 day ban depending on the player's attitude" 
  and for "RDM in a sit" because I couldn't speak over the other person who was involved in a sit with me, he would interrupt me when I went to speak so that I couldn't give my side of the story. I told him to be quiet so I could speak and he kept going so I killed him so I could speak. I couldn't find a rule saying that you couldn't kill someone in a sit, but I assume it's just common courtesy, just as is allowing another person to give their story.
  
• Not listening to a staff member / continues to cause issues / not helping staff resolve their issue 1-day - 3-day ban depending on player attitude

  He also claimed that I did not know the rules and told me that I was stupid, yet I had only been on this server for one day. I had 1 previous warn for RDM when the "RDM Arena" got out of hand and I didn't know better, to me it looked like everyone was killing each other so I joined in. This was solved with a warn and a polite explanation of what had happened and what was going on.I know that the things I did were wrong, but I don't believe that what I did deserved a week ban after my friend who I was involved with got a 24hr ban vs my 7 day ban. There are very few things that could actually constitute a 1 week ban and I don't feel as if I met those requirements. I was not treated with respect or heard but instead I was punished immediately with no reasoning, I am sorry if I caused Jack an inconvenience for his time, but I do not feel that it should have been taken out on me. If anyone has any questions or comments they would like to add, please feel free to speak. I have also added a copy of the Admin DO's below. I do enjoy this server and have already donated money to help further the community, but I would also like to return and have fun with the other people around. I want to thank anyone who's read thus far and any administrator for their consideration.
  
  • DO be respectful and relatively professional during sits and RPing, no one likes an immature moderator / admin
     
    
  • DO help people with any questions they have and attempt to be the first one to a sit all the time, this will be noticed and you may get promoted
     
    
  • DO respect other peoples privacy. Spectating them or teleporting to them constantly is a big NO
     
    
  • DO listen to both sides of an admin sit and use logs to your advantage
     
    
  • DO ask for admin / mod help if you're unsure what to do or how to punish people
     
    
  • DO use common sense. Banning people for 2 weeks because they had 4 fading doors instead of 3 is a big NO
     
    
  • DO ignore sits with the ignore button if it does not follow the "Call for an admin rules"
     
    
  • DO go to sits that follow the "Call for an admin rules"
     
    
  • DO be a positive role model. Our players look up to you guys. Acting like children will get the players to act like children.

Okay so upon reading through this, and correct me if im wrong, you were banned for revenge RDM, NLR, RDM in a sit, refusal to cooperate with staff, and trying to "run away" from a sit? 

 

If this is true i would be happy with a 7 day ban, because it could be extended to 9 days or more given all the infractions listed in your original thread.

 

 I want to see what the banning staff member has to add before I give my opinion on this thread, but it seems as though with all the infractions compounded together you got a pretty good reduction in potential ban time.

These were correct (revenge RDM, NLR, RDM in a sit) These were not, sorry for the confusion (refusal to cooperate with staff, and trying to "run away" from a sit).

seems a bit excessive at first glance but if you did all that why do you think you deserve less time?

RDM in a sit is always and forever NITRP because sits are outside of RP entirely and you have no reason to kill them. If you believe a staff member is being biased you need to report them. Instead, you made the choice to break even more rules and-
