It is entirely different when a majority of the reports are accepted, but as you can see the majority of the reports against Piklas as of recent have been denied or very faulty. The only major report that I remember that was accepted for Piklas was this one: https://titsrp.com/showthread.php?tid=7164&highlight=piklas Which of course was dealt with accordingly. Looking at the amount of reports is much different than examining the contents of the report, and I was actually going to agree with a demotion, but after researching have changed my mind. As well, I believe that Piklas himself is a good staff in my experience. Everytime I interact with him due to some kind of staffing reason, he is helpful and efficient. When I need to fully understand a rule, 9 out of 10 times Piklas is the one to answer. Not only that, but I have observed that he does take sits, however usually only when no one else gets to them. I don't consider that sit taking technique a particularly bad thing, especially considering the work ethic of a lot of the staff. Of course, this doesn't rule out that the things he did were wrong. In fact, I am very disappointed to see those things. That is why I am a +1 for some sort of punishment (I would recommend a major strike). The staff abuse showcased in the report (and admitted to by Piklas) is not acceptable, and makes the staff of the server look bad. It is something that definitely deserves a punishment, because when staff do this for raids and alike, it gives them a major advantage. It is akin to metagaming in my eyes, similar to how when kidnapped you are not allowed to broadcast your location. However, broadcasting your location like that is usually just a warn in my personal experience, and even more likely a verbal warning. Spectating players is definitely a step up, but I do not deem it worthy of a demotion based off of this; I think that it is worthy of a big strike against Piklas. This is not to say that I don't think that it's a serious thing to do, because I absolutely do think it is serious. However, I do not think that it makes Piklas worthy of a demotion. Punish the man, absolutely. But, do not demote him for this. Of course, my opinion is refutable, as I have only been staffing a short time. I am only taking this from what I have seen on my time on the server. If you do not want to take my opinion seriously then I understand, but I believe that it is a good argument for why Piklas should not be demoted. Ok, so I can confirm that there was a sit held by Quizzical (about the base) and after that Piklas did come in the base with his stealth camo on, and hid in our processors in the corner. We did tell him to get out of the processors and leave, etc. He also shot me multiple times, and some of the other people in the gang... While he did not mean harm, he caused harm. I got very low health after being shot quite a few times, but he was still in the processors.... Scored, Code, and I were all trying to get him out of the processors (me a couple steps back from them because I was hurt) and we were trying to get him out as we could not kill him, then scored/code shot inside the processor trying to kill him, causing us to lose 8-10 processors (Yes I counted when it happened), then Piklas proceeded to say in chat "Wow you really shot" or something along the lines of that... The shot also killed Scored, Code, and Piklas, while just wounding me (because I was farther back). I am not entirely sure if he tped to the sit, but there was a sit going on and when we did replace the dupe and put the keypads down he did come in. ~ Grape Piklas..... And usually when he takes sits, it's usually for his friends or of himself from what I've seen. I'm not saying he always does it. The majority of the reports that Piklas gets are from players that he raids - or players that develop some sort of beef against him because he ACTULLY PLAYS THE GAME, the only exception to that list would be Munkir. Of the reports on Piklas, only 1 of them have actually been accepted - and the reason was for crossfire x2. So you're literally saying he deserves a demotion (based on reports) because he crossfired 2 people, and spectated me to find me. I think I have found the winner of the biggest Goofball award. Also, I enjoy how you have 1/5th the amount of sits that piklas has, and again don't actually play the game to rp or play, only to fit your agenda as staff. Well met traveler. Again, these reports are all created targeting Piklas because he raids, mugs, kidnaps and has beef with these players. He actually plays the game. Of the reports only one have actually been accepted - so the rest are void. Piklas is the most active staff in terms of playtime. Is often the only staff online. Gets an average of 11 sits per day (Has 1,364 sits). Makes suggestions, bug reports and is active on the forums... So excuse me, but what does he need to improve on? What 'stuff' does he need to do? You want to demote him because he crossfired 2 people, and spectated me. What the actual fuck are you smoking? To say that my reason for reporting is because I was raided would be incorrect, of course you have some sort of bias for Piklas as he is your raiding partner, gang member, and I suppose friend. My reason for reporting wasn't because he raided me, it was the fact he used staff tools to assist. Nilpferd and Mentor Peanut Butter I'd also like to adress your comments, I believe spectating Tact as a means to find my base is most definitely using staff tools to assist in raiding (He wouldn't of gotten there so quickly perhaps not even found it at all and Tact was killed by Jeboris then Jeboris was killed by Piklas, if he didn't spectate who knows what would of happened? My guess is Tact dies Piklas is lost somewhere seeing as Tact would no longer have been able to tell him where to go or would break NLR rules.) Nilpferd I say it's obvious because he literally spectates Tact and raids not even a minute after. He also admitted to spectating him to find the raid and you don't actually have to move the spectate camera around to see that our names were indeed not in our base therefore meaning it is empty and free to raid. I'd also like to point out Piklas is a bit of a minge, he stays on the very edge of breaking rules to avoid punishment but still be annoying as possible. And he claims he will just make an alt-account and report staff for every small little thing if he is demoted (I suppose that mainly means me, yet I don't abuse so that's okay.) ALSO, the amount of sits keeps getting pointed out.. I wholeheartedly believe the amount of sits has NO relevancy whatsoever and does NOT indicate whether someone is a good staff member or not. I never said using staff tools to then raid is bad, but you said that he used it and then not raided as well as you said he could move it around (even thought he might be able to), you can't really prove that it could have been just to look at tact. " but only to see where tact was since i couldn't find him in the sewers when he said there was a raid" You could not find your friend whom was about to raid a base/raiding a base, and decided to use your staff powers to spectate your friend to find out his position/where this particular base was at. This is using your staff powers for RP situations, which is 100% not allowed. Not to mention the fact, that you could have used that to search the base, while i don't think you did, doesn't make what you did any less abuse. There is no telling how many times you may have done this casually in the past, and i am very doubtful of this being your first time. Nonetheless, this lead to the destruction of another players profits, which would have or would not have happened anyways, doesn't make it excusable. The Staff member will be unfortunately demoted. I respect that you came forward about it Piklas. However this is not something that just a strike should be given for. Also, Tact. I get he is his friend, but please do not openly insult other staff or players in a Report. This just makes everything a mess.
