Report on Piklas.

Okay I'm going to address this issue, and then the big picture as a whole.

 

1. Sneaking into someones base while they're trying to recover their defenses is kind of a shitty thing to do, but unfortunately if you did have raidables inside it's not technically against the rules
   
2. Spectating someone without valid suspicion of them having broken a rule is abuse of power and should most definitely be, and is punishable

Over the last few months I've seen many reports and ban appeals pertaining to piklas, and I've personally witnessed the lack of motivation he has to do actual staff work. Now I'm going to quote both dindu and blacnova on something here. "Alone none of these actions have been enough to be demotable, but together they show a pattern" - report on mr. This is the same situation, alone none of the reports/ban appeals are demotable, but together they show a pattern, that pattern being a blatant blazè attitude toward the staff work piklas signed up to do.

Now let it be said that I have absolutely nothing against piklas as a person, but as a staff member I just don't feel he is as passionate as he could be about the job he volunteered to do.

Thanks you for posting this as i have noticed the same thing... that he has not done anything that was worthy of demote / other punishment, but all together recently i do believe it had been demotable. I was in the middle to writing a post similar but you beat me to it. I have began to like piklas but over time but the reports and appeals have just added up.

As per usual we have more bandwagon boys. NICE! The majority of the reports that Piklas gets are from players that he raids - or players that develop some sort of beef against him because he ACTULLY PLAYS THE GAME, the only exception to that list would be Munkir. Of the reports on Piklas, only 1 of them have actually been accepted - and the reason was for crossfire x2. So you're literally saying he deserves a demotion (based on reports) because he crossfired 2 people, and spectated me to find me. I think I have found the winner of the biggest Goofball award. Also, I enjoy how you have 1/5th the amount of sits that piklas has, and again don't actually play the game to rp or play, only to fit your agenda as staff. Well met traveler.

But over the past two or so months, he's been getting more ban appeals and reports on him than anyone else. I don't like seeing this stuff since he's usually a nice guy, but he does need to step up his act as a staff member and do more stuff. Now, even though Piklas is a nice guy, doesn't necessarily mean he does a lot as a staff member. But then again, he also did abuse here and a lot of other things recently that makes me lead to me believing he should have a demotion.

 

 

Again, these reports are all created targeting Piklas because he raids, mugs, kidnaps and has beef with these players. He actually plays the game. Of the reports only one have actually been accepted - so the rest are void. Piklas is the most active staff in terms of playtime. Is often the only staff online. Gets an average of 11 sits per day (Has 1,364 sits). Makes suggestions, bug reports and is active on the forums... So excuse me, but what does he need to improve on? What 'stuff' does he need to do? You want to demote him because he crossfired 2 people, and spectated me. What the actual fuck are you smoking?

Lmao I have 1/5th the sits piklas has? Why because my all sits says I have 200 something? That's cute. I have over 1500 sits in total, ask around the sit count has been reset a couple times. Also want to point out that sit count means literal jack shit, it's not the number, it's the quality.

Tact... You would be completely correct that he is the most active staff on the server and has plenty of claims due to it. This does not change the amount of reports on him, yes i know he has many reports because of the amount of playtime and the "beef" he has with some players. "Beef" with players is no excuse for misconduct as a staff member. There is NO denying that Piklas has done great things for our community. I believe that piklas is a great staff member and loves the community but i think as he said " I have seriously considered taking a break from the server all together". Everyone needs a little break every once in awhile.

Why are you being disrespectful? He abused and RDMed two people. Not to mention that he also has been getting a lot of reports, ban appeals, etc all in his name. Usually he is on a lot, but there are a lot of people including staff saying he doesn't take that many sits when he's on in the first place... So what the actual fuck are you smoking? I can even get Sugar to give me the sit count per hour for him and we can see how many he truly does. So please, if you're not informed on anything, don't comment.

To say that my reason for reporting is because I was raided would be incorrect, of course you have some sort of bias for Piklas as he is your raiding partner, gang member, and I suppose friend. My reason for reporting wasn't because he raided me, it was the fact he used staff tools to assist. 

 

Nilpferd and Mentor Peanut Butter I'd also like to adress your comments, I believe spectating Tact as a means to find my base is most definitely using staff tools to assist in raiding (He wouldn't of gotten there so quickly perhaps not even found it at all and Tact was killed by Jeboris then Jeboris was killed by Piklas, if he didn't spectate who knows what would of happened? My guess is Tact dies Piklas is lost somewhere seeing as Tact would no longer have been able to tell him where to go or would break NLR rules.) 

 

Nilpferd I say it's obvious because he literally spectates Tact and raids not even a minute after. He also admitted to spectating him to find the raid and you don't actually have to move the spectate camera around to see that our names were indeed not in our base therefore meaning it is empty and free to raid. 

 

I'd also like to point out Piklas is a bit of a minge, he stays on the very edge of breaking rules to avoid punishment but still be annoying as possible. And he claims he will just make an alt-account and report staff for every small little thing if he is demoted (I suppose that mainly means me, yet I don't abuse so that's okay.)

 

ALSO, the amount of sits keeps getting pointed out.. I wholeheartedly believe the amount of sits has NO relevancy whatsoever and does NOT indicate whether someone is a good staff member or not.

Good lord, full goof. We might have to teach this one how to read. The end result of the ban was actually failrp if you want to get into it - He had built on the side of the road and placed a bomb ontop of his base. This resulted in killing people that were walking on the road. Thus the crossfire. He has the 15th most sits on the server. (Since they reset I think june 2016?) Again, of the reports only one of them have been accepted - so you can't really address them as factual since they were already proven wrong?  Looks like we have to hand out another goofball award for Kalysta, roud of applause everyone! Thinks 1,364 sits isn't enough, lol.. Please us noggin.
