Why were you banned?: I was banned for Mass Rdm

Why should you be unbanned?: I feel the ban was unfair since i gave a legitimate reason and the ban time is pretty long, hence forth i wasnt actually rdming.

Evidence: Now i wasnt recording nor do i have any physical evidence. I can rightfully assume i was banned with high sus because of all the crossfire. I did kill alot of people, but not intentionally, alot of heck was going on and people where shooting left and right.  So i was getting shot at, or defending other people getting shot at etc. There was alot of rdming going on and alot of other people where getting banned for mass rdm too, so i guess i got caught in the mix for a high kill count. (when i mean alot, i mean ALOT to the point where the kill feed wouldnt stop scrolling)

I was playing as Judge Gaben so the weapon (his primary) has a big fire rate, and most of my kills where in the PD, either in the lobby area or outside.

Really i admit to reckless firing but mass rdm is a little harsh. Every time i accidentally killed someone i would apologize and advert that it was cross fire, not intentional murder.

I was banned for a week, and to be fair i had fun playing n your guys servers so.

Thanks for reading - Lance (edit i completely forgot who banned me, and what the ban reason had said, i apologize)

Alright so here is all I saw when I checked logs http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1185201805 (logs) and when you said it was majority crossfire I was very suspicious so I checked chat logs and saw no /advert Crossfire from you (below). 7 days is the standard MassRDM ban.

Oh dear, now i can see why the mod assumed i wasn't being honest...

Would relogs (relogging onto the server) delete anything related to what i posted? because i do recall relogging before even getting in the conversation with the moderator the administered the ban, so maybe it removed or forgot my posts? not too sure how it works. I would type "/advert Crossfire sorry" and it post it like [Advert} Lance Cocuski (posted text) in yellow.

If i am looking at the screenshots correctly its basically showing that i never advertised the cross fire but there is substantial proof of me rdming,. basically concontradicting what i said?

To be honest i am pretty new to DarkRP, since i wouldnt play it for long. Only really familiar with Jb so sorry if i am a brain cell short. lol

Apolgies, thanks in advance. - Lance

No one really explained that too me, like i said i was new to Dark RP, i just saw people posting that in chat when ever they killed someone by accident. So i thought that's what you do so i followed suit. Sorry though.

I was more talking to kyle since hes a mod and he should know that adverting crossfire isnt a thing. You on the other hand it doesnt matter. However it seems that kyle banned you almost entirely on not adverting crossfire so uhhh +1 for unban

I mean, it's kind of a thing. It isn't official but it's polite to explain in advert, ooc, pm, whatever that it was crossfire/an accidental kill.

If he tried to say he told them it was crossfire and he didn't it'd be one thing, but with the search parameters he put into the logs it would only look for "/advert crossfire." He should've looked at the user's full chat logs or just for "crossfire" to determine that because if he said "/advert sorry crossfire" that wouldn't show up with what he searched.

Overall, the biggest factor for determining crossfire is the damage logs to see if he's damaging other people too. That should've been what was checked, not the chat logs. Adverting crossfire means absolutely nothing, it's a courtesy/apology and helps reduce unnecessary sits.
