I have tried various things like,restarting my pc,restarting my Garrys Mod,going into single player and then disconnecting and then trying to connect and it still wont work. Tact Posted September 12, 2017 Share Posted September 12, 2017 Reset the host file ---> https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/972034/how-to-reset-the-hosts-file-back-to-the-default Make sure your firewall/antivirus isn't blocking hl2.exe Close all programs that could interfere with connecting to servers.. like streaming software - recording software, amd shit - nvidia shit.
