Why were you banned?: for using a bomb to mass rdm

Why should you be unbanned?: I joined the server with my friend and was making a party i named it "bomb squad" because that is my gtaV mc name and it thought it was a good name, but a minute before that some penguin looking blue bird had come up to me with a "bomb" ( i didn't even know bombs where in this game... i know the game has nades but bombs are new to me) i thought the "bomb" was a keypad cracker that the guy dropped and was holding with this gravity gun, so i tried to take it, ( by pressing E on it ) it didn't work and the guy ran off. Then 2 minutes later an admin tped me to him and told me that i mass rdmed WITH A BOMB , i tried to explain it, but he said it was clearly me because my party name was bomb squad.. i tried to explain but he wouldn't listen and he ban me for a week, as he was banning me they penguin looking guy said that he did the bombing and admitted to it . So then my friend who was there the whole time, tried to explain and he said " oh well, nothing i can do now" This admin knew that i didn't do it, and still didn't do anything about, this admin who needs to either, do a better job ... or be removed from admin altogether! so i hope that this is enough info to get me unban, so that i and my friend can have some fun. 

Evidence: I have none, i wish i did but i don't, sorry. tho my friend saw the whole thing (but i don't know if that is good evidence)

I'm sorry my dude but I can't buy this story. Yes the timebomb and c4 do look like a keypad cracker this much is true. However you have almost 100 hours on this server, that is plenty of time to learn the difference between those three raiding tools. Not to mention if a keypad cracker is dropped it appears as an ak47 until it is picked up by a user. If you were new to the server I may have been inclined to let this slide and believe it was an honest mistake, but being that you have so many hours that is not the case.

on the positive side of this ban i learned that bombs where a thing, and i completely understand that its hard to trust me because of my time on this server , but if it helps i give you my word that i didn't know bombs where a thing in this game

After discussing it with the other staff, it turns out that it does indeed credit whoever hits E on the bomb instead of the placer.

Nevertheless, it's very interesting that

• You have over 100 hours on this server and don't know what a dropped keypad cracker looks like (This one is probably fine)
  
• You don't know what C4 does/don't know it exists despite playing for over literally 4 real-life days
  
• You think staff should be demoted for banning someone who literally detonated a bomb in the middle of a crowd
  
• YOU STARTED A GANG (edit: party) CALLED BOMB SQUAD
  

We'll have to see what the person who banned you has to say, but there's definitely some suspicious activity going on here.

100 hours that is sweet, and i thought that only blowtorches look like a ak47, im almost 100% that keypad crackers look like a keypad cracker when dropped .....

yeah i know, all of that is true, i don't know what to say other than, please explain to me how tf i got the bomb then, I WAS A CIVILIAN TRYING TO FIND A PLACE TO BUILD A HOUSE.

Seeing as there is no evidence to discuss, I will use cop logic here. Regardless if the suspect placed the bomb, or activated it, or both, a clear intention to use a bomb for whatever reason exists. Discharge of an Explosive Device, intentional or not, even if it doesn't hurt anyone is a Felony IRL. In-game, you WILL also be arrested simply for carrying anything explosive, and you will likely be killed if you place/throw them. In this case, Mass RDM (3+ false kills) intentional or not can default to a week ban.

 

The only decent lead we have to verify your story is the bit about the Keypad Crackers looking like C4 and Makeshift Bombs (and not the other way around). But, can you not simply pay more attention and read what you're looking at? Perhaps if this is what really happened, you should make a suggestion in the suggestions thread that Keypad Crackers be given a different texture.
