I didnt ear slap anyone, I dont even know the other person. It was a joke, I assumed the OP just left a sit because there were several other mods in the area, I had just finished two sits at once myself. I dont understand why this is a problem. Yes the music was wrong but a demote for one joke? Remember guys this is a game and sometimes I like to have fun too. OP was very vocal that this was all a joke to him and he laughed about breaking the rules. Instead of showing force I decided to play it cool, hoping he would learn something. This was my idea of playing it cool. 

 

btw no one called for a sit, since i was the one that was RDMed, thats why he was jailed in the street.

 

didnt leave the scene, was walking back in forth in the road until i unjailed you. I would like to know if OP was in a sit prior to this and what for. 

 

I appologize for my behavior with the music. I dont normally deal with players that would laugh and joke about intentionally rdming a tmod so again, my behavior was wrong but in my eyes I honest thought - if you want to act like a child I will handle the situation as if I am dealing with a child. Yes I was wrong, not very professional but that is what was going through my head. If thats ban worthy then so be it, but im being honest. I enjoy my psoition and am looking forward to learning and growing with community.

I completely know where you're coming from but i mean it was a little much my dude, when you would go down the street other people would come by ask why im in the road which lead to the report as i saw that it wasnt allowed from your standpoint.

 

Edit 1: Sorry forgot, i wasnt in a sit before hand, maybe because of just mass rdm or something, i do want to point out that i never brushed it off as a joke i did apologize (sorry i did t get that part i only started recording when he started to play the music because it was pissing me off

Prann - thanks man, you're absolutely right. From any other perspective than my own I was wrong. I should have TPed you to another location away from ridicule, instead I made a joke of it. My mind told me you were laughing at me, like "how could this guy laugh at me when all i do is dedicate my time to helping others". It wasn't like that, you were playing the game too and youre entitled to your fun, and I probably messed that up for you for a while so for that I apologize. I will learn from this and understand the role of moderator requires a certain level of self control and maturity that I did not display today. I see where i was wrong, if you guys want to ban me that's fine, but I think every situation can be a learning experience if you give it the chance to be. I understand you guys have a standard to uphold and I failed to represent that today. I was completely slammed and did not want to take up time disciplining you for RDMing me because I really dont care. I was just doing what I thought I was supposed to do, but I let my personal perspectives get in the way of my duties and you clearly took offense to it. I apologize to you and my team.

I said to myself "if I tp this guy and bring him for a sit hes going to get upset and tell me how im wasting his time and this is rediculous mod abuse, but if I just jail him for 2 freakin minutes and joke around with them maybe he will chill out" because at the time the majority of the server was in a riot apparently. I was just trying to save time. In the moment it didn't seem like a mistake, he was joking and laughing and so was I. Of course everything looks different after it's recorded..

That's why I played the kiddo music. It was funny to me, but yeah I guess in this situation i was wrong to do that.

 

The video starts at me dropping my stereo but the chat is cleared and doesn't even show me jailing him. In chat I told you that you RDMed me and I asked you why? Then over your mic you said "no it wasn't me man,it was somebody else man" and laughed at me. I'd say there's about 45 seconds missing from the start of this video.

 

You also knew before I even jailed you that you killed me, and that I was a training mod, so what I should have done was ban you imediately, but assuming that you just came from another sit i wasn't going to ban you incase another mod was working on something against you already.

 

Also for mods, the reason I didn't TP him after !jail was because I thought that it would TP just him and not the cell. I simply didnt know how the jail thing works I barely use it. Didn't mean to make a scene.

Never cut anything out thats when i started recording, I would like to ask who i made fun of and last thing is that i have minimal time on the server, so i havw no clue what youre on about, I killed you and said "Oh shit thats a tmod sorry dude" then chuckled i never came from another sit, Because i had just died, you are really just going on and on about things that hadnt happened. If we are going to start saying people are after eachother, I would say that there never had to be a sit, Just a warn and it would be over, but no you just had to take it to the next level and jail me and play absolutely unnecessary music during the sit.

Well I understand where you're coming from. I appologize again for not going through the routine with you. I didn't know anything about you then, and I figured you were a minge on a mission, based on your attitude over mic. Clearly I was wrong. As a mod, I generally handle reports from other players by bringing both parties to me, and discussing what happened and then taking action together. In this situation, I could tell you were already aware of what you did wrong and I did not feel that bringing you for a sit and warning, banning, etc was necessary at the time. I didn't mean to insult you or make you feel like you needed to report me for admin abuse. I was just trying to be cool with you. Also I was in character and really wanted to get back to my RP so I jailed you instead (not normally what I do, and I can promise you I will never do it again).

 

I will be going on a temporary LOA for one week starting today. This will be my time to think about my actions and come up with ways to improve. If anyone needs to reach me you can PM me here or on discord.
