ShardMario
Your Steam Name: ShardMario Your ingame name: ShardMario Your Steam Profile/SteamID: ShardMario Why were you banned?: "Invis Exploit" Why should you be unbanned?: I'm not gonna make a lengthy post. I did legit nothing wrong. The "Invis Exploit" GoldenPup is referring to is literally a feature in the game. You take potions from the Alchemist Engineer and you become invisible, and after a while it becomes permanent. How in any way is this an exploit? I'm not doing anything except drinking the potion. And yes, I did explain to them what I did to become invisible and I was still banned. Additionally, the potion doesn't even make you completely invisible. It was the fact that they had world glow props that makes it look completely invisible, even with the red material barrier. Evidence: I have no evidence, I don't record shit
Walter the Assaulter
I've never, never heard of it being supposed to make you permanently invisible. The entire point is that it ISN'T permanent. Sounds like you abused a pretty serious exploit and didn't tell anybody about it.
Golden Pup
We had a sit about it with Musical there, you refused to tell us at least 5 times what you were doing, then when you finally did, we tested it and it didn't work. You then told us to it takes more than 5 attempts, which then lead to me thinking you were sitting there farming this until it happens. Which is an exploit in my mind, if Sugar can confirm it's intended to make you permanently invisible (which i doubt it is) Then I will admit I was wrong. ShardMario
Besides drinking the potions multiple times, I did nothing. Also, it doesn't make you fully invisible, you can still see the person. You're only completely invisible in front of world glow props. It isn't exploiting if it's LITERALLY nothing but doing the same thing over and over. It's a feature in the game. And it isn't permanent, it lasts for a while but not permanently.
Walter the Assaulter
"And it isn't permanent, it lasts for a while but not permanently." " and after a while it becomes permanent." " and after a while it becomes permanent." and after a while it becomes permanent.
ShardMario
My b I guess, bad choice of words @Walter. It isn't permanent though. Yall ignoring the fact that it doesn't make you completely invisible though, but I guess that's fine. <<<
Walter the Assaulter
The problem is this: 1. You found an exploit that would allow you to become invisible 4ever. 2. You abused it without telling anyone about it. 3. You were brought to a sit about it and refused to give up the information. 4. You only gave up the information after you were threatened with a ban by an administrator. 5. You were banned with permission from an administrator. 6. Not completely invisible? https://youtu.be/mA5VFomhkXo?t=114 Edit: 7. We have not been able to reproduce it the way that you explained it. We have not been able to make ourselves completely invisible or make it last permanently.
Aortai
Additionally, the potion doesn't even make you completely invisible. It was the fact that they had world glow props that makes it look completely invisible, even with the red material barrier. Huh.. maybe the permanent thing here should be your ban? ShardMario
1) Stop calling it an exploit, it's literally in the game 2) I used it twice, not abusing it 3) I did not refuse to give it up, I literally asked what happens if I don't say 4) I "only gave up the information after I was threatened by a ban by an administrator" GoldenPup wasn't there to hear what it was. I didn't want everyone using it. 5) "Do whatever you think is right" So yea, true, I guess that's permission from the admin 6) Must have been just him, you can check on the server rn that it doesn't make you 100% invis. It makes you more invis than stealth camo, but not 100%. Edit: 7) Don't know what to tell you then Edit 2: Don't talk like you're actually on the server testing it, Walter. If you go on and see for yourself, you'd most likely change what you said and I can guarantee that.
Aortai
Do you know how many times you've contradicted yourself in these posts? Its permanent, but it's not permanent. It's completely invisible when behind world glow props, but it's not completely invisible, but it's completely invisible on video.. If it looks like a duck.. and it quacks like a duck
