Why were you banned?: Well there was a bug i guess or I dont really know exaclty what happened but in short I took a shipment of door shields out of my inventory but it didnt take out a shipment it took every doorshield that was in the shipment and dropped them on the floor and they all stuck together and started glitching. This caused massive lag in the server And i guess the admins thought I was trying to crash it.

Why should you be unbanned?: Because i dont think that i should be banned, it kinda all happened by itself i took them out and for short of words they kinda just ''sfajgryujbvgyewgjhwg'' all together. Ive been playing on titsrp for quite a while now and I think most people will agree that I didnt want to cause any issues whatsoever

Evidence: I dont have any Evidence, because I think this is a big misunderstanding (Even tho i messaged admins before getting banned telling them the issue), but you can ask Quarel Poli and Steve Harvey, I believe they were the 2 handling the situation yesterday.

It is a week ban, I think you wait this one out.

 

Next time think, if you caused a 30 second lag spike I would be +1 100% but for 15 MINUTES THE ENTIRE SERVER BROKE.

Yeah ok I ''did it'' but it could of happened to anyone. If it happened to you would you ban yourself? I dont think so. Its a bug, I never wanted to crash the server, the shit litteraly fucked itself with that bug. Oh and dont ''wait this one out'' me, ive never been banned before this stupid bug.

Would someone who pastes a too-large dupe get banned because it lagged the server? I didnt even crash the server and Im banned for a week, doesnt sound really fair.

And the server lagged for so long because ENTITIES bugged, which are not linked to players, so the staff should of figured out the problem really quickly since they kicked me and it didnt do shit. I just think that you HAVE to punish someone for the lag but 1 week for a bug that could of happened to anyone even sugar is a little overboard.

I think the server owner is going to have to decide your fate on the server.

Overall, the inventory system is still pretty new, so I still expect there to be bugs here and there.

However, this new inventory system is not poop.  It is actually a lot better compared to other systems and allows the sever to open more slots.

I attempted to recreate the bug you claimed (smaller scale) and i could only get the door shields to pop out if i hit e on the crowbar they turn into from shipment. -1 for unban unless you can explain more

I dont think you can replicate a bug, The door shields just all came out together as one big ball of door shields while I was in industrial throwing stuff away to make space for chemical barrels. Immediatly when it happened I started to caps lock in OOC ''OH SHIT SOMEONE COME I THINK I FUCKED UP BIG TIME'' But I guess it was too late so I added Ipug2, The only staff whos name was in the ''recently'' when you look at player list through steam. I messaged him saying exaclty what happened but when i told him he said ''whats ur ingame name'' I said Smokepurpp and kept explaining but he never responded.(Which was a huge letdown).

That's not how it works  though. When you go to throw something out of your inventory whether it's a gun, shipment or some random whitelisted entity it will create it once and only once. There is nothing in the code that will make it spawn more than once on a given inventory action. Now, replicating this is easy to do though because doorshields will collide with each other and they will get stuck within each other as show here 

 

 

 

 

 

It has nothing to do with the inventory system because the inventory system

• Will not pickup doorshields unless their in a shipment or a spawned weapon
  
• Will not spawn a full on custom entity unless it's in a whitelist, otherwise it's a shipment or a weapon
  
• Will not auto activate either a shipment or a weapon
  

 

It's just a fact. I don't want to doubt you because I am definitely prone to mistakes but I made this system and I know what happens when certain things occur. It seems like to me that you pressed E on it too many times because the entity itself doesn't go away until it's put on a door. I mean you can be unbanned, I don't mind, shit happens. You obviously didn't want to do it intentionally
