Why were you banned?: Mass RDM/Mass Suicide

Why should you be unbanned?: I should be unbanned because I feel as if I was treated unfairly. I  was an explosive Specialist and I adverted "MASS SUICIDE AT THE FOUNTAIN". Then I waited for people to be there. Once there were people there, I said that if there are people who don't want to be exploded, they should leave the fountain area, I waited a few seconds then placed the SLAM on the ground, the laser appeared and someone intentionally walked into it when I told them not to. (Let me make this clear) I DIDN'T SET IT OFF AND I TOLD PEOPLE NOT TO TRIGGER IT. It was an ORGANISED EVENT. Meaning everyone there was consenting to being killed/exploded. But it turns out, there were people who were just standing at the fountain. I said to the whole group that if they didn't want to die, they should LEAVE the area, but they didn't. So when the bomb went off, it killed most of the people, but one of them was Steve Harvey. Steve Harvey (The admin that banned me) barely questioned me. He jailed me, told me that he would ban me, then he banned me. Without even properly questioning me. I adverted it many times in chat that It was an organised mass suicide. It wasn't an RDM at all. I wasn't given a proper interrogation/questioning. Now remember, I DIDN'T SET THE BOMB OFF, but I was told it was still my fault because I placed it down.

That's like saying the Wright Brothers are responsible for 9/11 because they invented planes.

So that is why I feel I should be unbanned.

You are responsible for any explosives you place. No, it's not like saying the Wright Brothers are responsible for 9/11, it's like saying you placed down a bomb and then it exploded and killed everybody.

What you did was basically advert MASS RDM and then you killed many people.

You are an idiot and no member of the staff team will help you for trying to get off on your extremely shitty arguments.

Speaking of which, if you reply with "but I didn't trigger it!" or "I adverted it!" I will warn you. Those are invalid arguments and add nothing to the discussion. They were discussed in the last thread and you KNOW they are invalid arguments. You may reply with EVIDENCE or an argument based off of the MOTD along with a specific quote of the rule you are using to argue.

The thing is, he INTENTIONALLY did it to RDM people and blame it on others.

I didn't do that.

My case was not intentional RDM and you know that. Could I control someone walking into the laser AFTER i placed it down? No, I couldn't.

Could Omni control himself from taking the activated bomb to large groups of people? Yes he could.

So just stop.

We're thinking about different situations, then. He was 7d extended to perma for laying down a C4 and letting someone else activate it, no throwing it anywhere it just sat around.

Strangely enough, his defense was that "someone else activated it not me, so it's not my fault."

If my ban is shortened/removed, you can ban me from the Explosive Specialist role for as long as you want.

Also, going back to your statement.

When someone activated the C4, he took it to a WAAY larger crowd of people, he even did it more times then me.

So a perma ban for my case is a overreaction compared the Omni's case

I don't think we can ban from specific jobs without going through some extra work and I don't think it'd be worth making a system for what would no doubt be 2-3 cases every few months.

 

The thing is, you CAN'T advert that you're gonna kill everybody in a public place and then do it. There's no legitimate RP reason to kill those people. I get where you're coming from, but what you did is just something we don't do here and we consider it a violation of our rules.

 

The case I was talking about concerning Omni was one where he just stuck it in the PD and left it there. I'm surprised to hear that he got away with running a bomb into a crowd without getting at least a 7d. Good thing the fucker is perma'd.
