RDMx2|Priors|Alting Why should you be unwarned/unbanned? Because RDMx2 is a warn-able or potentially kickable offense. Also, my "priors" were all from over 10 days ago and were expired. I only have 4 of them as well, to which doesn't warrant a ban or even a kick. Anoo666 jumped the gun and banned me because I killed Crow a few times (3 times in total. Once for hitting me with his spells, and twice more when he failed NLR and returned to where he died.) after he attacked me as Gandalf and kept coming back to the fountain in center of town. We were in sit-land for 20 minutes, waiting for a higher admin but Anoo666 took it upon himself to just ban me for a day, then extended it when I played on a different account, but my ban time was tripled, not doubled. The alt can stay banned, I suppose but I don't believe it's fair since the ban didn't feel warranted. I was hoping I could get this ban expunged from my account or something, as I think it's a little bit unfair. Who warned/banned you? Anoo666 How long were you warned or banned for? 3 days. Ferkle Bunstein Posted July 16 Author Share Posted July 16 I also forgot to mention how I was informed by Anoo666 (Or potentially another moderator like Crow, I'm not entirely sure.) in a sit that I am allowed to kill Gandalfs if they attack me first. There were two of them just blasting everyone with red spells by the fountain in center of town. It honestly just feels like they were looking for any reason to ban me, since I was pretty much being entrapped into killing the Gandalfs and I was getting rather annoyed with Mods not doing their "jobs" properly. Vex Posted July 16 Share Posted July 16 Just as a heads up while we wait for logs/clips to be posted; you have 3 recent warns for RDM, they would've factored into your punishment. Also, I would disagree that my RDM warns were recent. They came from December, June, and July. Furthermore, my argument towards the ban being tripled instead of doubled still stands. I admit using an alt to rejoin after being banned is wrong and I was properly punished for that, but I feel as though it's a bit unfair considering the ban itself seems to be unfair considering my actions. It states quite clearly on the Rules page that doing so gets your time doubled instead of tripled. (1 day x 2 = 2 days.) watch out steel chair Posted July 16 Share Posted July 16 I don't remember exactly what the ruleset for Gandalf was but the job description says something along the lines of "you sling spells and they do wacky stuff, but you'll probably get killed if you hit the wrong person". Il cast my vote once the logs are posted by @anoo666 I recently refreshed myself (and am still trying to learn them all) on the rules ever since I was banned, because I was very confused as to what is okay and not okay to do regarding retaliation against being struck, having a player come back to my location after I killed them, and if I'm allowed to kill them if they disobey NLR. I originally killed the Gandalf for hitting me with a spell, which seems like Proper RP, then killed him twice more after he returned to the same area where I originally killed him. To which I was under the impression I had the right to put him back down after breaking NLR. It seems like the rules regarding NLR are a little fuzzy, or maybe I just don't understand them. The argument against me was "I can leave spawn." but there are three different ways to leave spawn. Also, wouldn't accidentally hitting someone in crossfire just be considered an accident or in worse case "ARDM" Unless it actually killed them, I don't even remember. The logs will have to show that or something. All I remember is killing two Gandalfs for running around blasting players, including myself with red spells. Honestly, I really don't play Gmod very often and I recently came back after like 2 years of not playing, so I apologize if I don't fully understand the rules outside of the obvious ones like Don't RDM and stuff.
