"Vote was successful (MRDM x10000)" Why should you be unwarned/unbanned? I was trying to follow the Mayor's law "Streets, and Catwalk are KOS, and someone started a vote ban to ban me for "(MRDM x10000)", and the vote went through. Afterwards, I learned from LuckyJack on the TitsRP Discord that I was RPing a FailLaw. I was acting according to what I believed was a valid RP reason (Mayor's order, RP Law). I'm sorry and I will not repeat this in the future, and I will report future laws I now know to be FailLaws instead of unthinkingly following them. I also want to be unbanned because this is my first ban, and I don't want it on my record if possible. Who warned/banned you? BeeTeeth Posted February 1 Share Posted February 1 hi there, so I understand the confusion here so allow me to break it down. - Mayor cannot make KOS laws that are OUTSIDE pd ( ex: Cannot make beach and fountain KOS, but can make pd KOS to non cp) - Restricting areas that players walk on is a FailLaw ( ex: Jaywalking is AOS ) You may NOT make jaywalking laws, or any laws that require players to move/not move in a certain way. <-- actual rule stated in the rule book I understand that where YOU come from, all you were doing was following laws but you WERE following a fail law. Øneiric Posted February 1 Share Posted February 1 (edited) unfortauntely -1 for change/removal it is the responsibility of the player to read the rules once joining the server, it is under mayor/cop rules as to what you can and cannot enforce and as you said you were enforcing a fail law. Hey! I just wanted to add that medal has been broken for a few days now, you can upload them to streamable if you download them! Since it was just a vote ban, you are now unbanned, but I think this vote ban was a good learning moment for you. I don't think you meant anything malicious with what you did, you just didn't fully understand what is and isn't allowed. Ultimately i'm a -1 to removing the punishment off record. It's unfortunate that there was no staff to educate you otherwise it would've probably been a warn for MRDM. Sorry, but I'm -1 for a removal. Votebans aren't taken in account when punishing though, so they don't really matter. Hidden Chaos Posted February 2 Share Posted February 2 I would have to agree with everyone else on this matter. -1 for ban removal. like was said by others your offense probably was not very bad, but somebody felt needed to vote ban you. I would use this as a learning experience. My advice to you now is to read !rules, hopefully this will help avoid something like this happening again.
