Why were you banned or warned?

I was warned because I killed someone who had a hit on me

Why should you be unwarned/unbanned?

I should be unwarned because I was talking to one of my friends and a hitman came up to the group of ppl that was around me and said where is JaQuavis and when I looked at him , it was a hitman and he had a hit and it was clearly on me considering he was asking ppl where I was so I killed him, then I got teleported to a sit, said what happened and got warned for it even though he had a hit on me, the mod said that he had to hit me first for me to kill him but that's actually not true, ppl could shoot at u or ur general direction and u could kill them even if they miss, obviously that's not what happened but if anything that should have been an education time if anything but even then I still don't think I should have gotten warned considering he did have a hit on me, its not my fault he said in game chat that he was looking for me

Who warned/banned you?

BOT sittoandmori

How long were you warned or banned for?

I think the only issue with it is that you instantly shot him the second you heard him try to pronounce your name.  What I usually do is wait for them to shoot first so I can confirm they are the actual hitman. Metagaming is allowed too. I wouldn't have warned for this but rather talk it out and educate.

You do have a lot of history and playtime, but your last RDM prior was a verbal from September.

I'm personally down to tone this down to a Verbal/removal

This is not at all true lmao. You most definitely can kill a hitman that has a hit on you. Who is training the staff these days

been here a long time cob but could you show me where in the rules it says that in case i missed it?

I think a warn is a bit harsh considering this is a really niche scenario, but realistically as I've had this discussion with a few members of staff already, we shouldn't be adopting a mentality nor endorsing gambling on whether or not a hitman has a hit on you. If they're doing anything short of directly flatout TELLING you they have a hit on you (or shooting at/near you of course), you should probably wait just to be safe.

+1 for a reduction to a verbal.
