If that was the case why was the only thing being leaked some genetics "joke" referring to some other messages completely unrelated to anything illegal?

It's so painfully obvious this is just an excuse after the fact to justify doxxing, and if Bill and whoever was involved with those people actually thought that behaviour was not acceptable they would have cut off people like sixnut years ago when they were doing those things, like someone like myself did (I had not contact with kilobyte either at the time, in case that is in question). They don't actually give a fuck. 

Ask yourself why it took a month or more after people doxxed kilobyte for the "real" reason to present itself, and only after those people are in hot water. 

 

Isn't it crazy how caleb can parse the fact that someone being immoral doesn't mean that suddenly doxxing is ok, but you cannot? (also it seems that it was MarkCX and not bill who was doing the doxxing now with new screenshots)


Are you going to notify 150,000 people that there was a security breach? Yes, and any company that has any integrity would do the same.
Here is an example of a message you COULD have sent: "If you played on the Garry's on [Day when IP's were being logged] your IP address may have been compromised due to an exploit that has since been patched. There is currently no evidence that the IP addresses were linked to specific accounts. I recommend that you always use a VPN while playing on old valve games"
Instead you tried to sweep the situation under the rug, and recommended a VPN after someone else who was in the know told the community.

 

The point I am making is that there is a clear pattern of actions that people within a certain group are doing, and nothing happens after evidence is presented or people just admit things. Just yesterday you're joking around with sewer overlord in your discord when he has admitted that he is responsible for doxxing bone. Do you think that is acceptable?

Do you think its acceptable that MarkCX, who also your friend has messages saying he was actually the account taking part in doxxing kilobyte (which you are now trying to paint as something honorable) is not banned after evidence has been presented? Why not unban bill because apparently he was just exposing a criminal?

 

There are ways to go about things without trying to sweep things under the rug.
There are ways to call out and deal with immoral and illegal things without doxxing people.
There are ways to still be friends with people without allowing them to fuck up your company.

sewer overlord, and bone have settled beef from what i know, and sewer was genuinely apologetic, and was a huge fuckup, should have he gotten slapped for it? sure! 
also for the MarkCX thing, when the staff team was briefed on it, henchy cornered mark, mark admitted he was just joking around, he immediately got demoted and was given a 6 month probation, he even apologized to me, despite me not knowing anything about it until that day.
caleb's involvement with the whole 16/14 year old dms have actual no backing other than caleb sharing a screenshot of sixnut and kilo discussing ratting from what im aware of, the whole other thing is mere hearsay with no proof that i've been provided.
bill leaked the genetics joke, is banned
vbov got all the ips, never leaked, nor abused them, is still banned though.
legacy drama mongered, is banned
caleb and mark are on probation, if they breathe wrong, they'll be banned.

let's also scare 150k people for something that affected 40-50 people that wasn't abused, and was deleted/censored so only 1 person had access and never had any proof of abusing this exploit

there are clear patterns, they sleep, wake, stir shit because they're bored, and return to the watery graves because no one really cares for the most part my nigga.
you barely play the server, same with people like terry, tene, ect that also be spoutin alot of shit
same with caleb, markcx, that whole group, also, barely plays anymore.
these groups you speak of can only really be slammed off discord and fourms to have any actual punishment to them, they leech off drama my nigga
if you have a concerning report, make one! 

im locking this thread because me, the staff team, and most likely the entire community is just fucking tired of all this drama, and this thread is just gonna stir it more.
squash it, everything is dealt with, not happy? gladly fuck off, we've dealt with everything that needed dealing with, everyone is handled, you're just singing praises and songs because caleb's on probation and isn't slammed, and you're reaching for straws that already got solved.

Stop with the fucking drama,

 

it's garrys mod, Nothings abused, Nothing got swept under the rug, Everything is dealt with, Rubik didn't announce an exploit that HE found where you could nab IP's through your titsrp profile with the video links, because it wasn't abused and had no concern to 99.9999% of the community!!!

Having your IP included in a private disclosure to me is not a security breach. If you have any evidence of a single IP being leaked please send it to me.

it’s an internal issue that’s been handled through the proper channels. I don’t disclose any exploits, primarily because doing so may expose other flaws or incentivize bad actors to find more exploits. This is common.

Again, completely different account and totally unrelated besides the fact that bills name was mentioned. You are wildly (or willfully) misinformed on the situation and basing your “beliefs” on speculation and presenting them as facts. Please stop spreading speculations as fact. The only thing mark did was spam his username in chat to confuse people and stir up drama. He has no involvement in any of this.

Bill committed a federal offense under US internet crimes laws. this type of behavior is a gross violation of our terms of use.
