I didn't understand that I couldn't break nlr to watch. I never killed or interfered with the raid. The only time I would come back and actually do something was after my 5 min timer was up. I was never warned that I couldn't do this was only aware that I couldn't interfere. Crow then kidnapped me and started throwing hentai cards and saying to call him a good boy. I responded with his mom is a whore. Its rp. I was kidnapped. I think crow reported me cause it hit him in a soft spot but people can run around and say the n word. How am I being punished for that. Once again, I was never warned that I wasnt allowed to do any of this. I was explained nlr and was fine with that but still banned.

 

Also, I killed crow in the sit zone. I thought it was a seperate entity world, not tied to the original. I was jailed, which was fine and swinging my sword. The mod counted that towards my ban. I didnt know that was a thing. Once again didnt even warn or explain to me. 

 

I did want to say one more thing that I do understand the rules that I broke, and read through the all encompassing nlr. I do understand that I cant come over to watch anymore and will leave the area for the full 5 min before returning. And also, I do try to follow the rules. Earlier that day, melancholia told me I wasnt allowed to build in a public grow area that I didnt know existed. I tore down everything then and there and moved. Im willing to follow the rules, I just havnt played in years and didnt remember all the specifics

NLR exists

• Please use your best judgment to determine whether or not it is okay to return to a place after death.  People will care if you died in a raid and come back. If you want to play it safe don't return to your place of death until the time is up 

Max raiding time is 10 mins, it's best to ask the user if they are done raiding if you wish to return earlier.

I had first brought you without jailing you, you walked up to Crow and started punching him to death, afterwards i put you inside the jailbox where somehow Crow's hitbox was hit when he was standing ontop of it, you had full intention to kill him the first time while the second time i will give you the benefit of doubt for hitting him through the jailbox.

While it may feel a bit rushed the ban, you had already been reported earlier the same day for NLR and RDM but left the server before i started the ticket.

I am willing to reduce the ban time but the ban will stay.

+1 to reduce ban to 6h

The only reason I left was I crashed, but I immediately rejoined the server. The only reason I was being toxic to Crow in the sit was because you were threating to ban me and I didnt understand why at the time. But Crow was over there asking for a blowtorch and stuff he lost while I was trying to explain to you that I didnt understand why you were trying to ban me. I didnt want you to pay his comment any mind cause I thought you were in the midst of banning me and I wanted you to deal with my point first before I had to take it to the forums. To the point of me killing him. I want to reiterate that I have only been teleported to a sit once before for something completely different. I didnt know what it was nor did I know that him dying lost his stuff or we were the same entity. I didn't realize it was part of the same world. You should have just said to stop hitting him. Its not like I took out a gun and shot him. I understand that I broke the rules, but I genuenly didn't know that parts of it existed. I did at the time believe I was following the rules. I would appreciate at the very least the reduction, but ideally to just be unbanned and take it as a warning.

while i do not consider this a threat but more of what was actually happening, i don't really get the reason why it warrented you to be toxic towards crow in the end.
Also why would that be a back bone for the reason you are toxic towards Crow.

Hi, Blue Shirt. I took a bit to skim everything over, including priors and your overall behavior during the sit.

 

First off, you WERE warned for RDM and NLR earlier that day, you simply logged off before the sit took place. Melancholia had taken a sit made against you, and collected sufficient enough evidence to issue a warn.

 

The logs also demonstrate you didn't just break NLR once, but quite a few times in quick succession. Even if you hadn't been warned initially, MNLR carries a somewhat lengthy ban length and is ultimately left to the staff members discretion whether or not to warn or ban for it. RDM in a sit further restricts whatever leniency you got yourself.

 

Not to mention, you also pinged moderators and above to look at a ban appeal for a 24 hour ban.

 

All things considered, I think a 24 hour ban is completely justified on Mel's part.

 

Personally, I'd be a -1 for a ban revoke.

 

However, as the banning staff member has given a +1 for a reduction, I'm also going to +1 for 6 hours instead of 24.

@Melancholiai didnt mean for that to come across as me being toxic because you were trying to ban me. I was just trying to explain the urgency of me trying to get my point across and him trying to ask for things while I was fighting for myself not to get banned. It had nothing to do with you, but more of my emotions towards getting my point heard. and @Kert Kobean I didnt log off. I crashed, if you look at my join rejoin log, it was not long before I came back online. I didn't know what I was warned and I still had no idea that I was breaking the rules. But I do understand that I broke the rules in a general sense.

 

Side note: I get from your views that as a bottom line I broke the rules and can understand why I am getting banned to begin with. If 2 mods are enough to sway the vote, I will take the 6 hour effective immediately so that I can play later tonight,

 

Thanks for the consideration and sorry again for troubling you guys. I get that I could have been causing a disturbance to crow, but I didn't know that I was actively breaking rules.
