I just don't want this voteban on my record bc it wasn't a genuine voteban. Rather it was used as a form of revenge.

I shot JaQuavis twice while defending a party member that he was repeatedly arresting at the time.

 

The first time I shot him for arresting my party member he had said it was RDM in chat, but I didn't notice.
 

About two minutes later, he then attempted to arrest the same party member a second time right outside our base (breaking NLR) and I defended my party again. After the second time, I noticed he said in chat that I had RDMed him x2.

 

I told JaQuavis I was doing a party assist and he informed me I had to yell "party assist."  I wasn't aware of the party assist, so I said "whoopsie dasies". And a friend started helping create a bind. [See 16:36:27 in JaQuavis log]

 

JaQuavis made a comment in OOC about "letting me off"  but if I did it again it would be "mass RDM." [See 16:34:45 in JaQuavis log]

I said "sheesh big baby. dnt worry i'll do the yelling thing." [See 16:35:08 in ItIsWubs log]

 

I said "/y party assist" and then killed a different cop arresting my party member. JaQuavis then proceeded to voteban me for "RDM x2" because he "changed his mind" [See 16:35:25 JaQuavis log]

 

The voteban was listed for RDM x2 but JaQuavis said in chat it was really becuase I was "talking shit" and "u dont disrespect me when i show you kindness." JaQuavis repeated in chat that he really kicked me for "talking shit" when my party members began to argue with him. [See 16:36:57 + 16:41:40 JaQuavis log]

 

The voteban hour is already up, I just don't want an RDM voteban on my record when that's not really what happened.

From what I'm seeing from both sides of this is that you didn't yell assist when defending your party member which is required or its considered RDM which is why I think this has happened. Did you yell "party assist" or something similar before defending your friend? If not it's RDM and the votes are valid, if so the votes are not valid.

I'm closing this since there's no response and this ban seems to be valid. Just remember to call a party assist next time.
