Abusing Report System Why should you be unwarned/unbanned? I have never been warned for this, ever! I find it absurd that it was taken this seriously, with the reason "you were staff, yung". I made a real sit, which I didn't care about anymore, and I thought the false sit (on a friend, not a foe) was gone it was a while until it was actually claimed. I dont think i shouldve been warned here, considering I haven't had a warn in over a year. You were showin in tab as a VIP so I assumed you resigned or something which is why I said "were staff" and not "are staff". My point still stands though. You are staff. You know you can't make false reports. You said the first report (On the civilnetworks guy) you didn't care about anymore, so I closed it. You then admitted outright that the second report was false and you just wanted to give someone money without havin to find them in game. It ain't a valid reason for a sit. You made the report on VoN sayin he called you a racial slur and you had a clip of it. You admitted to lyin about both of those. I don't know how or where this notion of "Free sits" comes from, but it's absurd. As staff it is not our job to pick all the quickest and easiest reports to boost our sit numbers with as little effort as possible, it's our job to enforce the rules so our players can enjoy the server without worryin about their enjoyment bein affected by nincompoops who get off on ruinin other people's fun. False reports are a waste of staff time which could be better used on actual rule breakers, such as the mass RDMers that we had active reports of at the time. Sure, your job is to enforce the rules, not to make everyone's life hell over them. I know you didn't check my previous warns and gave the punishment because I was staff, which again, it doesn't matter if (at the time) I am a regular player. You didn't treat me like a regular player, but as a staff member. Sounds like you take staffing too seriously and maybe you shouldn't be in this position, since you will be ruining peoples experiences (considering that is what you did with other players). "False reports are a waste of time", again, I'd like to know what sits were up. Final point, I made a few sits before those ones, which weren't claimed. I make 1 "false" sit and get warned, while they're acting like I was making false sits all night. If we're going to talk about "you should know better" you should know to not take things like that to an absurd level. Id like to change my request: instead of removing the warn, change it to a verbal and demote Wilkins, thank you. Zirconiumfish7 Posted October 5 Share Posted October 5 Though I do believe that yes while you were staff on LOA at the time and that making unnecessary sits is a petty thing to do, I do believe that giving you a warn is a harsh offense, especially since it was only done once and as you have stated haven't been punished for anything in a year.
