No sit was administered, I was AFK and unable to defend myself if any sit DID occur, I believe I was just doing a harmless prank as anyone with the ability to read further in the chat would know it was edited from what was actually said by the player I was "being toxic" towards. Who warned/banned you? Sana How long were you warned or banned for? 1 Week I was meaning to have the joke be a little silly thing that I only said twice, also, I made said joke of editing the message because considering the multitude of things I have read on this server that people have said and NOT gotten banned for, I thought that it wouldn't be any issue if I was making a harmless joke. It's Garry's Mod, not a presidential debate. It is quite literally, harmless. Anyway, I hope this ban is lifted or shortened, as I was not intending harm in my prank of editing the guy's message. I concluded that what you did was pretty self-explanatory and the things were so fucked up that a ban was justified imo considering you still had the opportunity to appeal it. I don't appreciate at all the way you're trying to downplay what you did with words like "harmless prank" "little silly". Either way, I learned my lesson, and if the ban is lifted, I won't make the mistake again. For context, I've had people telling me to kill myself, calling me the n word, telling me they hope I get raped, my head bashed in the wall, and this was while staff were active, so I figured I wasn't making a poor judgement, but i can see that I did, and I apologize for it. I mean, racism, being told they hope I get raped, hope I die, that's pretty bad, but they DON'T receive ANY punishments..? Windex Posted July 13, 2024 Author Share Posted July 13, 2024 Anyway, if 3 days is what the ban gets shortened to at the most, I can accept it, but I still believe the admins should take more action against the others saying toxic things as well.. I've also reported like, 5 different players for RDM, and they've yet to have been punished in any way, even while admins are actively playing.
