I killed a few people because the mayor had a law that said if you RDM you get 5K and i need money so i did that and i get teleported by a staff member and he said asked me what i have been doing and i told him and he said you cant do that. I said thats the law and let me mind you it has been up for a while they werent telling mayor to remove it but other laws. He then said things such as, "ill go easy on you", "i have to give you a little timeout" "you've been good". So i thought i was going to be jailed for a little but i wasnt. And i was John Cena so technically the mayors law was a way of everyone being a challenge to me so i fought them. I didnt come up with that my TItsRP lawyer did Mr. tenebris not tenebrae. But i just wanted to throw that in there. The mayor shouldve been confronted but i got a week ban like what? Who warned/banned you? You Posted July 13, 2024 Share Posted July 13, 2024 Hi, adding input as I was the banning staff, while the mayor did have a law that was removed shortly after these sits piled in. While I would have warned in a scenario where this was small scale, you killed nearly a quarter of the entire online players, 30 kills to be exact. This was my reasoning behind a one week ban, instead of a 3-5 day or a warn. Punishments are at the discretion of the banning staff. Attached are the logs. Did you punish the other people who were rdming? I just cant believe you banned me for a week after being nice to me for a misunderstanding, i need a second opinion on this anyone? As a staff member you have final say in punishment, there is no minimum time for any mass ban, if it was an accident you can verbal, or even give a 1 hour ban. zoot Posted July 13, 2024 Share Posted July 13, 2024 I prefer being lenient when it comes to mayor making garbage laws and cops enforcing them, but between your low level and the fact that most of your bans are for MRDM, it seems you have just got on to MRDM here and there for the better part of two years. Unless you have something to say on that I am -1 for unban, your history tells me you are not someone who is interested in what the server is actually intended for. I was just playing the server and was literally on for a long time and the previous day too. So i do know what the server is intended for Sir, i been playing DarkRP since i was a lil kid. All I'm saying is i don't think it should've been 1 week that's too much its not like i was a threat to MRDM the server as a intention. And yall saying rdm is rdm but it wasn't i was tryna get my bag up and was playing the server accordingly with the laws. Any other server would've made the Mayor take that law off within a minute but it was on there for a long ass time and probably after i got banned too. The rules page also covers what laws are considered FailRP and killing anyone without a valid RP scenario is RDM. You need to know and understand this to play on the server.
