I believe that I should be unbanned because this situation is drawn out. I was at the casino playing poker with this one random player. Everything was going fine until "Larry Cake" shows up with his friend. While I was playing, "Larry Cake" was talking shit and saying "if you get up from this table I'm gonna kill you" so i got up and killed him. His friend sits down at the table doesn't call raise or fold his hand for a good 3-4 minutes resulting in the table just being frozen. This was just minging so I thought if I were to kill him, his hand would just automatically fold but it just froze the table and did nothing. I then get brought to a sit where the staff member instantly just tells me that I deserve a 3 day ban and thats where I am at now. I believe that a 3 day ban for this small non-rp situation is over doing it. I believe a warn is more reasonable in this case. There is no rp in this situation at all. Who warned/banned you? You Posted July 1, 2024 Share Posted July 1, 2024 Hi! I was the one who banned you so I'll give a bit of an explanation on my reasoning. You have a prior warn for RDM less than a week ago so right off the bat you should know better, but that aside, based on logs, you killed them without them damaging you, and additionally even then you didnt advert any warnings for them to get away. Another additional point in my decision was how you admitted to doing it just because they were "minging". I took all of these facts into the decision of how to punish you. Like Aflicto said, you aren't new, and you know better than this, your attitude in my sit showed that. If you feel you are being minged, make a forum report, grab staff, but don't get baited into breaking rules. To quote the punishment guidelines “Ban times and reasons are at the discretion of the staff member giving the punishment.” This player should know better. Killing them just puts you in hot water. I think using his past play time as a reason to keep him banned is dumb.
