Pardon me for commenting on this post but I just wanted to ask what part of this poll was sexual. Eating isn't inherently sexual. It was just a teen making a slightly edgy joke and in no way had a sexual connotation apart from the maple syrup itself being "homosexual." I could see how it would warrant a verbal because it could be misconstrued but this person has zero priors and their polls before this one were perfectly normal. I do not see how this warranted a six-month ban. I understand if you hide this but this seems like an extremely unfair and heavy-handed punishment for something that it wasn't meant to be. liliansmurg Posted June 13 Share Posted June 13 (edited) this comment is relevant to the appeal please do not remove from the punishment guidelines: Vulgar language, Racism, or inappropriate / sexual comments in OOC or used constantly around other players should result in a warn first, if it continues then a 1hour - 3 day ban depending on continued offenses At worst this should be a warn but realistically it isn't even worth that. this isn't really even vulgar its the most milquetoast comment. lets not forget the server bio used to have a whole long section about sacrificing kids to satan lol. dont understand what is happening in the minds of the staff going nuts over this. are you guys pretending you have never said anything off colour in your life? leave the guy be. whoever decided to ban this guy for this needs to have their staff toys taken off them. The rule that determined the ban length wasn't Vulgar language, Racism, or inappropriate / sexual comment. It was this one Pedophile Comments 6 months to perm ban depending on situation.
