Wilhelm Panderino
In-Game Name pant shitter Your Steam ID STEAM_0:0:98564408 Why were you banned or warned? rdm Why should you be unwarned/unbanned? wasnt rdm, my property was stolen Who warned/banned you? insurance agent How long were you warned or banned for? I dropped a loot crate and someone picked it up and shot it with the grav gun and took off after it, I killed that player for taking my item. I was reported and the player said he was warned for this so i should to, I was told by the staff taking the sit that the item is fair game if i drop it and I asked if that was in the MOTD as ive never seen that rule before. I was told that an smod said that was a rule. If so, why would i be punished for an unwritten rule that i was never informed of? Kinda dumb to say that a rule that isn't written should result in punishment. What kind of server has rules they enforce but don't tell the player base about? IMO this should have been an education over punishment thing or better yet add it to the MOTD! At the top of the MOTD it says Not reading the rules is your own fault, our rules differ from most servers. I read the rules. This rule doesn't exist What is in the MOTD is the definition of stealing Stealing: Unlawfully taking possession of someone else's property such as a boombox or other entities. Guest
From my understanding if you drop crates in public on the street they are fair game, i asked other staff aswell to confirm unless i was mistaken and got the following responses. The rule your quoting is under the Arrest-able Illegal Activities as-well and like other illegal activity's we arent allowed to shoot for some so casting clarification on this would be nice aswell because i resist killing people all the time over my crates because i have seen people warned for doing this very thing. If im wrong ill happily remove the warn and will make sure everyone else gets updated as it seems im not the only misinformed user if this is the case. Default Illegal Activities You can be arrested for these actions Stealing: Unlawfully taking possession of someone else's property such as a boombox or other entities. TLDR is it Kosable? doesnt seem to be by rules or what i was told. would love clarification because it isnt saying in the rules it is. Should it be KOSable? i think so. JeromeASF
Hi so if an item is stolen by a player, you are 100% allowed to kill them if it was your item. Now on the flip side if you are purposely dropping shit in hopes of killing someone when they take your item THIS IS NOT ALLOWED AND YOU WILL BE WARNED. I'm not saying you were personally doing that Wilhelm but that's just clarifying for people who will try and loophole this.

As @Insurance Agentput here is only says (You can be arrested for these actions) How ever I think as a criminal if someone steals your stuff you're first thought would be to kill them When I said in staff chat "so don't lol" I was replying to Fabrizio because said ( you can kill them but maybe get in trouble depending if they report you or not)

Poor wording on my part What I was trying to say was if you're unsure of something and you think it's not allowed I would recommend not doing it Edited April 25 by TapWater69
