Initially, I was going to be let off with a warning. The mod had stated, "I could ban you for CTF but I'm going to let you off with a warning." Afterward, being late at night and acting inflammatory, I replied "no you can't" after being annoying for several minutes prior, and I was then banned for three days. Why should you be unwarned/unbanned? I just believe that I was acting irrationally last night and I was taking a lot of liberties on the server, having seen others RDMing just for fun in the street, I shot Hyder near PD to death, and was swiftly taken to sitland afterward. I know what I did was against server rules but given the seemingly relaxed enforcement of said rules I believed I was simply playing along with the larger joke when in reality I was being problematic to server staff and by extension acting as a low quality user and would like to apologize for a reduced ban time. Hyder Posted January 28, 2024 Share Posted January 28, 2024 Hello Mister Epstein, The reason you where banned was because of the fact that you had a long history of warns and bans for RDM, and i was literally AFK when you killed me. I am all for cutting players breaks, but with how much history you have RDMing, and the fact that you have been in the server for over 6 years i felt that you definitely knew better then to be killing people for no reason. Even with all that being said, in the sit i was about to cut you ANOTHER break and you continued to be rude in the sit and it was clear you were not here to RP. Guest Posted January 28, 2024 Share Posted January 28, 2024 Punishment is up to the discretion of staff members, technically singular RDM could lead to up to a 3 day ban even if you have no prior warns/bans The banning staff member has stated that the reason for him escalating his punishment to a ban was because of your ban/warn history, which really for nowdays you only have a relevant warn handed to you this year, we often ignore punishment in your history if its older than 6 months (exceptions exist of course but i believe you are not an exception) So imma gonna go ahead and +1 for reduction to warn/unban, keep in mind that this input of mine may be a little controversial since punishment is up to the banning staff member so long as it doesnt surpass a maximum and does not completely reflect the final outcome of this appeal Link to comment https://forums.titsrp.com/topic/20917-i-rdmed-and-got-banned-for-ctf-late-last-night/#findComment-142923 Share on other sites More sharing options...
