Also another player named Craz said that he was teaching you how to play the game "[22:11:50] Player Craz (Craz-y) called a sit for: Yo this dude is myf riend and i think astra just banned him for a week and he doesnt know hwat hes doing i was trying to teach him the game". If he was teaching you the game the first thing he should have explained to you would be to not shoot and kill other players for no reason at all. Even after dying the first time after killing 3 players you respawned and continued to RDM where i witnessed you at fountain trying to kill me included. I think by your first death your friend should have gave you a heads up not to do that if you were truly trying to play the game seriously. If i was aware of these killings i would have told him to stop after he got pulled i asked what he did and he told me that he kileld a couple people and i told him thats not allowed and tto read the rules. He has literally 0 experience at this game and had no clue how it works. I was trying to teach him the basics, and you said that you were trying to talk to him but he also had no idea how to chat or voice chat and when i told him how to talk he went to talk but he had got banned as soon as he tried. I also dont mind he killed me as he was trying to understand the game. You don't have to unban him but he legit just got on the server and started playing rp i would like to be able to teach him how to play tommorow but if hes not gonna be unbanned its fine. After looking over everything you have less than 10 minutes total played on the server, no warns, no other bans (obviously) and you're not alting from another account. I'll give you a chance just please for the love of God read the rules I don't want to hear about you getting instantly rebanned the second you come back. (BTW the ban is just as he did commit the offense I just understand being completely new to DarkRP or GMod in general-side note to other staff members.) Ironfish1 Posted June 16, 2023 Share Posted June 16, 2023 After speaking to the banning staff member, I can tell it was pretty chaotic on the server. Astra was the only staff member on with around 60 other players, he didn't have the time to wait and let you figure out how to press y or x on your keyboard. However, the fact that you came to the forums and made an appeal, as well as getting another player to vouch for you, I am more than willing to give this a +1 for a reduction to a warn. I recommend reading the rules like Zucc said above me, but before that probably figure out how the communication works on this game considering you're joining a DarkRP server and not a Team Deathmatch.
