The situation went as follows, i was breaking doors with Sledgehammer for a battlepass tier, and a cop comes in and shoots the door i was trying to hit and i got scared and shot him to death. BearPaws Posted April 13, 2023 Share Posted April 13, 2023 This doesn't look great, while it does specify in the rules that you can return fire on someone who is shooting at you but hasn't dealt damage yet this clip is pushing the limits of this rule a bit far. If you had turned and obliterated him immediately after he shot near you I would say you would have a solid case but there's about 3 seconds between when he fires at the door and when you mow him down. Furthermore he swapped to his phys-gun before you even started shooting him. If he was looking at you with a gun and you mowed him down this would be a +1 but I have to be honest, for now this is a -1 from me.
