The Yearlyish (or whatever) Gang Perks and Talents Review

So after my last one (Which was when level 50 was the cap and there was still a potion maker to allow for easy EXP) there was many suggestions and flaws in the Old system and there are many flaws in this set of 70 Perks and (roughly) 34 Talents. So I spent the past 2 hours going through all of them, And giving the General look over at the basis of their description.

Note: I am Currently in a Level 50(ish) gang so gang perks from 50 and beyond are typically unknown to me as of late.

So with this here is all 70 perks and 34ish talents being reviewed for suggestions. 


 

Gang Perks:

Lumberjack - Needs better definition other then "Twice as Hard" (Clarity)
Lucky Miner - Have a sound play when You get an Extra ore (Clarity)
Extensive Research - Fine as Is
Respected Citizen - Becomes useless upon getting free PD screen items
Rookie Luck - Fine as is
No Returns - Fine as is, Could have a different name (Door to Door Salesmen?)
Speed Knockout - Fine as Is
Struggle - Clarity to Struggling out of Cuffs could be displayed (Like a sort of minigame other then just saying "struggle")
Advanced Software - No one uses Keypad Crackers, Literally no one.
Clumped Experience - Could add "and doesn't do damage to the target hit"
Stacked Nades - "Lasting 3 extra seconds or are more powerful" is abit vague and could use clarity on what gets changed
Crime Doesn't Pay - Fine as is.
You Didn't See anything - Triggering a bounty seems kind of sketch as people have complained over the years that they dont know how they got a bounty, perhaps have a message in chat that says your bounty has been increased (Maybe Only with the !showbounty Level Talent)
Ez Pz - Easy quests seems very unworth to complete.
Im not Ready Yet! - Fine as is.
Rigged Elections - Elections are almost always one sided but fine as is.
Bronze Storage - Fine as Is.
Quick Fish - Catching Fish doesn't seem to be set by a time so telling people their time is reduced by 1-3 seconds doesn't seem all that impressive when they can wait upwards of 15 seconds and minimal of 8. 
Escape Artist - 5% could be raised to a higher percentage
Detective Skills - The Killer already gets slowed by a bounty and the tracking falls off on the monitor when you get so close to the killer
The Fun Starts - Gang Wars are hardly used, Give more incentive and prevent people from repeatedly sending one gang several war requests
Found you! - PD Screen with an average server amount is almost impossible to see where someone is on the screen.
Elastic Restraints - Seems to be fine as is.
Jammer - No way to tell if you were being tracked as fast or as slow as anyone else. Bounty hunters usually fly around with flight or jump sweps faster then most conventional means of walking around. So essentially worthless
Pick of Steel - I've never seen my pick break in years
Goon Fighter - Theres no way to tell how much damage you're dealing to a goon, HP bars would be intensive and 5% seems so low compared to their HP, Typically dumping over 1 big drum mag (100 rounds) into a Antlion before seeing it die.
Big Stomach - Mega Pickup boxes are slated for the QoL update, So no issues here.
Big Winnings - Spending Money on an event is too costly and too risky, 1 mil for a single event is too much IMO
Full Range - The PD menu screen disappears at a specific distance to save on lag, would be better if you could access an outside PD menu screen exclusive to this gang perk.
Ahead of the game - Hardly ever happens or if it does then it isn't specified when it does.
Firefight expert - People dont call gang wars regardless of the time.
Charged up - Fine as is.
Farmer Joe - Seems Almost unnoticeable, But fine as is.
Strong Immune System - 30% seems fair but 50% would seem more enjoyable if it wasn't already almost wiped out of the server.
Billybob's Wish - WHO IS BILLYBOB! (No issues here)
Silver Storage - Fine as is
Tax Evasion - 20% less could be improved to 25% less
Barter - Anything that isnt a weapon typically is too cheap in cost to matter or is Overtly Expensive, 5% would be a good improvement but 
Knowledge is power - Fine as is.
Sweet Spot - Name doesn't make sense, 5% seems low but a sound could play with multiple barrels are given.
Projectile shark - Sharks should have this by default, not a gang perk.
Infused GMO  - Can be tweaked to nerf food
Enhanced View - Infiltrators probably don't even notice this.
Upgraded Protection - Hackers rarely use their hacking tools to hack into bases or use on other players entities.
Gold Storage - Fine as is.
Plentiful Feast - Probably causes a good handful of extra lag when not needed.
I know a guy - Makes an earlier perk useless.
Enchanted Matrix - 2% seems so rare on top of every other chance to get an Epic+
Knockout Babies - Define the 'Small Chance' 
Second hand Cure - Essential in cleansing the plague
Blue Blood - Useless and probably doesn't fit the theme of a gang
Trained Pupper - as a K9 You would be seen as minging if you went around biting criminals to sedate them and then arresting them
Big spooks - Range is Increased by how much, and armor doesn't matter when everyone stacks 100 armor items at any time.
Special Ingredient - You cannot make potions anymore.
Glimmer of Hope - 1% seems kind of pointless to have.
Freezer food - Probably added to unnecessary lag when crafting multiple food.
ICU - List only matters if there's enough people on, and if those people aren't basing.
Secret Recipe - Potions cant be made anymore, Potions aren't ever used anymore
Small Stash - 2 Extra shipments are usually based on the range of cost in the bank, Rarely useful.
Soul Keeper - 5% could be buffed to 25% due to how Talismans can just be Lost 
Treasure Galore - Pointless since Treasure hunters Hunts reset after getting all locations
Platinum Storage - Fine as is.
Hack the Hack - Fine as is, Though I rarely seen it used effectively
Numbing the Pain - Dogs would be seen as minging if biting to stun.
Farmers Market - Food takes too long to get as a restaurant owner alone, you need to spend time as a farmer to make effective use of the RO
Adventure Awaits - Useful if you're farming Quest Tokens
Steel Lined Grapple - Essentially useless as you typically dont play batman to be pulled faster, Make it so All Grappling Hooks (Spiderman swep and Batman) pull faster.
Amazon Minimum Wage - 50% of 7000 (Roughly)  is still too cheap 
Unlock CC - Gang CC is extremely Restricted and Only has 2 Slots, Only useful if you actively invite newer players to your gang so they have a CC to use.


Talents:

Quick Sell - Almost Essential
Masterful Farm - How much More % chance for extra Ore and Wood?
Processor Dominance - Could be buffed to 90% as Losing a cycle at 40% seems to be a waste of time and a valuable talent
A Pretty Penny - Seems to in a way inflate the Economy. 
Nice Guy - VIP tokens are too cheap to Make this anything worth getting. 
Fish Master - Waste of Talent point unless you Primarily get the 12k or 30k fish along side the other items.
Wide Awake - Useful if you're being targeted, Not useful if you just sit in fountain all day.
Good Ear - Audible Noises aren't as useful for a thing such as finding an object, Pointing out its general location would be a better idea (Such as saying its in the sewers or its at the beach
Junk Launcher - Mostly used to Minge with Props and Punting C4 isnt much of a thing anymore.

Extra Bullet - Tends to get glitchy with your ammo count, Extremely useful
Blood Sucker - 25% for 5 health seems way too small to make it worth unless you were in extended combat.
Precious Life - Almost Essential in Any Gang.
Two is better than one - Lock pick times being reduced doesn't matter as people primarily only use explosives for raiding.
Force Mug - No one really mugs as mugging results in at minimal under 10k
Force Drop - Extremely Contentious, Very Toxic and Game Ruining for some people as there are times where people have had 100+ items dropped because they had them in a shipment, Makes people not want to play the game.
Feather Hands - No one pickpockets to make this a useful Perk
Dead Silence - Useless as pick locking can only be heard from so far away and Keypad crackers are a fucking Megaphone.

Experienced Cop - Instant Cuffing is almost essential if you want to be a cop as anytime you try and cuff anyone with a timer they just pull out a sniper and body blast you for 200 damage.
Persuasive Fine - Hardly used due to the amount being so low, bounties are raised in increments of 500 so a extremely small percentage of bounties are this amount
I Basically Live here - Useful if used in a cop gang, not so much if you're literally any other gang. 
Free One - Not Taken Hardly Ever
Slow Down - Seems too Strong to be true, Non lethal Talisman makes it seem OP.
Instant Backup - CP rarely call for backup
Steel Grade Cuffs - Unsure if this applies to lockpicking users out of cuffs as well or not.
Down but Not out - Typically leads to body camping
Bad Boy Finder - I dont think I've ever seen this used

Morpher - Making any Job Smaller or Larger creates issues with Hitboxes or getting players stuck.
Slippery Snake - Items not being hacked isnt an issue, Having a chance to slip out of cuffs seems more like a perk then a talent.
Wow - Not Taken.. Ever.
Power Stomp - Seems fun if it wasn't costing an entire talent point.
Reinforced Legs - People who need protection from fall damage usually have Fall Damage Talismans on them.
Alter Gravity - Only able to be used on Specific Jobs, No reason to have lowered gravity if the only use of it is to jump slightly higher. 
Pocket Sand - The Blind Should last as long as your speed buff 
Take the Pain - 5 Seconds after kidnapping Would only matter if you were seen in the immediate, but people will just chase you down because invulnrability doesn't give a damage indicator to which direction you are being shot at. 
 


Any Input about Gang Talents That your gang might have that aren't commonly taken are a good choice for input.

Quick sell just needs to be a default feature on the server, with or without a gang. Such a waste of a talent point.

Junk Launcher is incredibly useful still as you can't punt anything without it, including parcels, lootboxes, timebombs, etc.

IN ALMOST EVERY WAY the entire system needs a rework. A lot of talents and perks just aren't relevant and never will be again.
