Why should you be unwarned/unbanned?

So basically im brand new to this dark rp thing and i didnt know any of these rules existed granted there being a rules list which i did not read because i like to go in right away to new games so my bad there butttt the admin didnt say anything to me when i got banned he just pulled me aside with another guy and said nothing basically i didnt have a say in any of this thats about it.

So I am not staff, but I am involved in this ban as I was part of the sit. Now, I don't exactly remember WHY I killed Jag, but when I did kill him all he did is return to my base and invade my home, my home had a building sign and since he trespassed he was raiding. This is technically revenge RDM but I called it fail raiding mostly. That in itself didn't bother me that much so if that was the main reason for his ban, you can deduct that off. I know kingkappa was also involved in the ban and called a sit on you but as for me, all I see is that you just raided my base with a building sign. If you DID trespass and it was the reason I killed you, it would also be NLR as trespassing = a raid, and when you die in a raid you have to wait 20 minutes to raid the person again. As for that, with a talk to you it does seem that I may have killed you for something else, although since I don't know if /slogs were checked not much could've really been done just judging by my word. I was fine by just you getting warned/verballed, me requesting to be returned was just that I thought at this point that there was no real reason for me to be there and I wanted to build my base.

so like being my first time ever on a dark rp server not knowing the rules and this guy kills me so first thing that comes to mind is kill him back so i did that and fuel shot me in an alley way so i went back and killed him too also again being my first time offence on any server for anything would have been nice to get atleast a warning or have been told anything about this.

Honestly, I agree with you now that I get the video. Not bashing bimby here but I would've rather you just been explained the rules you broke so you didn't do it again. It's all up to bimby's discretion and how much Kingkappa cares. Because for me I don't really mind that you did it, also trespassing is raiding regardless of if you took my stuff, you still invaded my home and when I came to my base cause, it was another RP scenario I saw you had killed me:

So, basically, I saw that you have broke NLR at least three times, and rrdmed as well. I think Bimby should have explained you your deficiencies better, for sure, because we value education over punishment, but you should have also read the rules when you first entered the server. It automatically pops up when you join, so it's on you if you break the rules. It even says so in the motd if you read it. Usually it could have been a verbal or a warn, and you could have still played, but since you committed Mass NLR as well as multiple fail offenses, he was forced to ban you. Bimby should have explained your deficiencies better though. For now, I am -1 for an Unban neutral for a ban reduction.

what does this mean exactly as far as ban time goes???

I still take full fault for not explaining the rules more through to you however that is my reason as to why. Also we do have rules for a reason on the server and even though I should've been more clear on what you did wrong it's still your responsibility to read them. 

 

I am still T-Mod, I haven't staffed on this server in a long while and this is a situation I am willing to admit I made a mistake on, so considering that and that fuel seems to be chill with you I would be in favor of lowering you ban by a couple of days and bringing it down to a 5 day, however during that time I would strongly recommend that you read the rules as we have them for a reason.
