August 23rd Changelog

 

Tweaks, nothing more

 

  • Min player count to raid bank from 10 -> 25
  • Buffed Printers (for real) 
  • Nerfed BitCoins (by about 25%)
  • Nerfed the damn Reaper
  • Added the USAS to the shipment list
  • Banned Billy Bob for owning a green tractor

  • Fixed BitCoin Light C4 use. Function will just be removed
  • Fixed not being able to drop shipment weapons
  • Looking into Ties which can tie down entities (like a physgun)

August 27th Changelog

 

Server crashes seem to be a little less frequent now, there is still a playermodel in the server that crashes the server every 10 - 20 hours but I think that is a fine amount. Here is what I did for this reset.

 

  • Disabled Lua Refresh so I can queue up files instead of breaking the server every time I transfer one in
  • Added a Hooker Job with a hooker swep. I don't know, don't ask.
  • Re-added perks (data was always there but the addon went missing)
  • Lowered the bitcoin value by another 15%
  • Added the Skullsmasher to the Black Market Dealer (I removed the texture off of it, if you want it, download it off the workshop)
  • Updated Staff on Duty job with actual tools

I will be looking into making 1 - 3 more VIP jobs over the next week or two since someone felt it was "lacking".  I will probably make the sweps in my own time since I will have a hour to spare every other day.

August 29th Changelog

 

Some new stuff..er not really new. Just stuff that was removed from the terrible 2 month long crashes, hopefully everything works well!

 

  • Added Lightsabers (Shipment at the BMD)
  • Added Darth Vader Job (VIP)
  • Added basic Half Life 2 cars with a car dealer
  • Added VCMod

August 30th Changelog

 

Since we have so many ways to make money, why not add a complex system or two? We have bitminers, ore mining and printers that make it easy to just faceroll $$ but I would love to give players more of a challenge in return for a lot of money

 

  • Made it so cars will be removed when health is 0, this is to prevent cars getting stuck and you not being able to get them out. Just blow them up
  • Added the complex Meth System
  • Added a complex Weed Growing System
  • Added default gmod pocket so you can pick up some entities you were not able to pick up before
  • Fixed Picket Sign sounds, I forgot to transfer them in
  • Added custom ulx commands for forceunarrest and forcerespawn
  • Added some weapons to the gun dealer
  • Fixed some shitty unboxing issues

September 3rd Changelog

 

To preserve player count and FPS, we have decided to do another map switch (yea, I know). We have dropped our playerbase so rapidly over the past 2 weeks, so we need to switch back to terrible downtown unfortunately. I am also doing a lot of cleanup, getting rid of active custom classes and boosting FPS here and there and getting rid of server space. As a Little Mac once told me, "You do not have to be the server that has everything of everything". I am also looking at current money making as it is still too easy to make money which is not intended. Yes, we want you guys to make money and have fun but at the end of the day, you should not be making insane amounts of money since all you do in this gamemode is make money, that is the ONLY goal. We will never do a forced money wipe because I think that is very unfair to the players who have spent over 100 hours trying to make money.

 

  • Map Switch to Downtown
  • Added Day / Night cycle
  • Added Theater back
  • Removed Evilmelon jobs
  • Adjusted Drugs Mod (Heroine)
  • Removed Weed making mod
  • Basic Cleanup of models and classes Workshop count from 83 -> 75
  • Current server size 2.61GB. Planning to get it down anywhere from 500MB - 1 GB by tomorrow morning
  • Changing Italian and Russian Mafia models (Should save over 300MB)
  • Updated Hooker Mod which fixed some issues
  • Nerfed Bit Miner's print by another 10% but lowered all costs of miners by 20%
  • Increased all shipment prices by 15%
  • Increased Key and Crate prices by 20%
  • Looking into some more permanent iterations for endgame content - Will look in the afternoon
  • In the process of making more melee sweps - Will be done in the afternoon

September 5th Changelog

Optimization and some cool features with the removal of others.

 

  • Added stocks. This is real stocks and not some silly algorithm to randomize them. All info is pulled from Yahoo
  • Added a Business mod, this will allow you to create your own company
  • Removed meth making
  • Removed ore mining
  • Placed chess and checkers spread out throughout the map and not just in 1 place
  • Changed weather mod to a more optimzed one
  • Updated theater to fix issues
  • Redid playermodel pack 1 which includes standard job models - Will do after the reset
  • Buffed printers by 10%
  • Fixed not being able to drop items you got from unboxing

September 6th Changelogs

 

Fixes, fixes, fixes

 

  • Fixed "Failed to load sound "weapons\hunter\pounce.wav"
  • Fixed Popcorn error spam error of angpos
  • Fixed buu base NULL entity error + muzzle flash + indexed error + calcmoveforce
  • Fixed tried to use invalid object model for lua refreshes (heh, I am just not going to refresh, easy as that)
  • Fixed Skullsmaher nil value error
  • Fixed msg alert using a null entity
  • Fixed Artorias sword attempting to index "weapon"
  • Fixed stock's attempt to call method 'close' preventing the close button from appearing if financing api did not load
  • Fixed vortiheal null entity in regards to view model
  • Fixed CSS error
  • Added some custom weapons onto the black market dealer - 19 new weapons to buy!

Some errors result in being unfixable because of the playermodels we use such as

  • Cbox attemping to get a bone position that's not there
  • Spiderman gun "rope issue" that swep is a mess, not going to even bother

September 13th Changelog

 

Due to some very rare crashes revolving in some textures having issues with envmaptint, here are some small changes.

 

  • Changed Batman model
  • Changed Nanosuit model
  • Changed Bloods and Crips models to the ones with animations
