Why were you warned/banned?: MNLR / Failrp (Suicided in RP) / RDM /ARDM

Why should you be unwarned/unbanned?: the MNLR and Failrp is all I'm appealing.     1. didnt really break NLR at all considering it was RDM meaning a OUT OF ROLEPLAY event so makes no sense how its breaking nlr if im going to confront the RDMer.       2. FailRP I didnt suicide IN ROLEPLAY going off the same idea i was being rdm'd and they started shooting at me again so i killed myself so i can return to spawn and be safe from them killing me (AGAIN WASNT A ROLEPLAY SITUATION!!!)       SIDENOTE: if I got in trouble for "RDM" how did the other person I was BANNED WITH not receive any broke NLR warnings atop the >>MRDM<< ban??? The guy who got banned as well started it all for "party defense" before i did anything to anyone in party and rdm'd me only off that reason. and admin admitted to the fact he was going to take the other guys side if he had called the sit (I have evidence I'll post link)

Alright. Just to start off, I had an extensive conversation with upper staff members about this, and am not making this decision on my own.

 

You claim that this should not be considered an NLR case, because getting RDMed meant that your role play was ended. We  commonly refer to the main map as "role play land" this is because everything that is done here is considered role play. Just because you were RDMed does not mean that you are completely free from following the rules, and are allowed to break them just because somebody else did. I say in the video towards the end of the sit that I would be on taters side if he had called a sit right after these events started, and I would, as that is what should have happened. This should have been a simple case, with one rule broken, and ended in, at most, a warning. What you should have done after being RDMed is call a sit for the case of RDM that happened. However, what both you and taters did was deathmatch each other in the public area of the beach, right outside of spawn, for 15 minutes. I believe that the point of calling a sit is to help the staff team to uphold the rules of the server, and I do not believe that two players who allowed each other to continue breaking rules for 15 minutes were thinking with the correct mindset to help uphold these rules. The biggest part of your ban was for MNLR, breaking the "New Life Rule" many times. You continued to run back to the beach death after death, and try to resume an ongoing RP scenario, which is the definition of breaking NLR. You defend suiciding to avoid RP in a similar fashion, and it is wrong for similar reasons. Any time you are being shot at, you should assume it is an RP scenario, and play it out as if it is one. Only after the scenario has truly ended, you should report it to the staff. You should not take that into your own hands by killing yourself in console to prematurely end an RP scenario. As for the RDM and ARDM, these are fairly obvious, these were added to the bans for the times that you, unprovoked, attacked the other users present in the beach area, including once in a video that you sent to me trying to defend your case.

 

I appreciate that you took the time to appeal, and urge you to appeal again in the future if you do not fully understand the reason behind your ban. But, in this instance, I am confident that I have made the correct decision. So, with approval from the upper staff team, I will be DENYING this appeal.
