Why should you be unwarned/unbanned?: I was a cultist at the time using a pentagram that was clipped into the side walk. I had seen other people doing the same exact thing and assumed it was okay but I was instantly banned without any kind of warning or discussion. Had someone pulled me aside I would've gladly changed jobs to avoid having to use it. I tend to sink a lot of hours into this server and I usually play on here between dry spells while I work from home.

Evidence would have really helped in this case, and I feel like Damned should have given you a sit.

I do remember seeing a pentagram clipped in the side walk around 5 days ago, tried destroying it, didn't get destroyed.

I feel like the point of the pentagrams are to be destroyed if people find it, so I would call it exploiting if it can't be destroyed.

For now, I am neutral on this application.

I think you saw the same thing I did, that's what gave me the impression that it was okay because it was there for a couple of hours. I also wasn't aware they could be broken, I just put it near a building so I wasn't in the line of fire when things went down because I assumed the only way to stop it was to kill the kidnapper.

In general, you probably should have called a sit/asked in OOC to see if it was allowed.

So first off, this case was interesting. Someone had been placing pentagrams underneath the sidewalk so they couldn't be destroyed for a couple of days in a row. You happened to be the first one I actually saw using the pentagram. I was trying to find out who's it was for a few days but I didn't really dig into it. I was watching the cultist list for a few days and you happened to be on and were a cultist every time it was there.

 

As for not giving you a sit, that's my apology. I should have been more thorough with that situation and this will change how I handle exploits/exploiters in the future. My apologies.
