Why were you warned/banned?: "MassRDM/ Making a warzone"

Why should you be unwarned/unbanned? : I don't believe this ban should have taken place for the one main reason, I put up text screens stating it was KOS, and that anybody who dare enter would die. I was already battling somebody in there and nobody said anything. There's no rules in the !MoTD stating that war zones or KOS zones weren't allowed. (Not that I read anyways) I personally feel like my ban should be removed. I was also never taken to a sit whatsoever. I do also acknowledge the RDM zone, but the maps in it make it redundant.

Who warned/banned you and for how long?: 7 days and Legit Satan banned me

So you make ban appeal for something that YOU COULD HAVE PREVENTED.  Nobody needs to tell you that kos signs are not allowed . If you would have read motd when you joined the server you would have known that they are now allowed.  But you said it your self ( Not that I read anyways).

 

When you join the server and close out of the motd you agree you will follow the rules and have read motd.   

 

As for the ban I think its valid. The only person at  fault for this is you . At most I will agree to a reduced ban like 3 days or 2. But that's up to the banning staff member. 

 

 

Loitering signs are okay 5+

 

Kos signs are not allowed 

 

If someone enters your base you have the right to kill them . It's called trespassing and can be considered a raid .

Basically, I was going back to my base and you shot me. I didn't see the textscreen, because if I did, I would've brought you. I was already in a bad mood, so I ask you "Why the fuck did you kill me?" And you respond; "It's a warzone, read the sign." 

 

First of all, like Isaac said, read the MOTD. If you're unsure about something, ask a staff member. With your logic, I could go outside of PD, put up a textscreen saying "It's a warzone" and KOS everyone. 

 

Second of all, you killed a FUCKTON of people. I don't have the exact logs, but even Bunziix was telling me that a week was generous. With the amount of people you killed, he said he'd almost issue a 2-month ban.

 

Third of all, I did bring you to a sit. You conveniently, however, went AFK after me and I believe 2 other people were telling you in OOC that what you were doing was wrong. Ask Bunziix, he was in the sit with me. 

 

In conclusion, no. I don't believe your ban should be reduced. What you did was completely idiotic and I feel asthough my ban was completely justified.

1: You should have seen the text screen as it was in the middle of the tunnel. That, is not my fault whatsoever.

2: Maybe you could. Never said you couldn't, but that doesn't correlate with your response at all.

3: I killed a max of 3 people and that's it, and since you don't have the logs to prove I killed more than that, there's literally nothing you can do about it at all.

4: I apologize for going AFK, I had went downstairs to get some food. That's on me. You still could have waited until I got back as it had only taken me under 3 minutes to obtain said food.

5: That's completely up to you. I though feel like you could have taken this a more professional route instead of a ban. It's better to teach somebody a lesson than to punish them right away.

 

Your attitude towards me in this reply didn't seem like you were very happy, and I apologize for you being in a bad mood. You being in a bad mood should not justify the way you do your job.

If you make a warzone/your own rdm zone, you should do it in a place where people won't accidentally run into it thinking you are just rdming everyone. There is a dedicated rdm zone for a reason.

1: The fact that I didn't see the textscreen is not your fault, you're right. What IS your fault, however, is how you literally killed anybody who came in to an entire section of the map, which isn't allowed at all. The KOS sign adds to it.

 

2: Yes it does. Because someone who would've done this in the fountain area would've gotten the same punishment, or worse.

 

3: Ask Bunziix, he was a witness. I spoke to him when I brought you to a sit. Even then, you're admitting to killing 3 people, which is MassRDM, which would already justify the ban. 

 

4: I didn't know how much time it would've taken you. I had other sits waiting for me.

 

5: I rarely leave someone off with a warning when it comes to MassRDM. 

 

I'm not saying being in a bad mood justified my way of moderating at all. I would've done the same thing if I was in a good mood. My mood is irrelevant to my way of moderating. I wasn't angry at you, I was just pissed in general. If I have a personal beef with you, I'll ask another staff member to take the sit.

You're saying this as if the people YOU killed are in the wrong here. 

 

Ask Bunziix. He was a witness to the amount of people you killed. Even if it did not exceed 3, it's still considered MassRDM. 

 

I would've totally agreed to reduce your ban if you would've admitted what you did was flat out dumb. But instead, you're kind of defending what you did and somewhat blaming it on the people who were affected by your actions.

 

So no. My opinion remains.
