I'd prefer to only have staff be able to see this post, so that how to raid my bases will not be exposed.

Why were you warned?:

"Not listening to staff."

I was warned for using the Keypad feature "Access Denied Key", in which getting the keypad wrong activates a key, or in this case, one of my doors.

Sal is Epic told me to "fix" my keypad, in which I responded with "there's nothing to fix here", because there really is nothing to fix! He persisted and so did I, eventually he !return-ed me and proceeded to warn me for "Not listening to staff".

Why should you be unwarned?:

Nothing in the rules state this is not allowed,

  • "You cannot have a base that requires special tools/prop climb. It must be raid-able by a single person using a lock-pick and/or keypad-cracker."

Quoted from the MOTD, My fading door requires NO special tool, in fact, It doesn't require any tool!

Ever since the past few years, I have continously used this way of defence for every single one of my bases, and it has been reported multiple times, and multiple times as well it has been approved by staff to be fine, It is NOT loopholing to use a feature that has been here ever since the beginning of this server.

Who warned you?:

Sal Is Epic

It was wrong to return you then warn, i take responsibility for that. I did that because i was gonna leave it alone but after checking with xen0 and dwight, i decided to give a warn for not listening when i gave multiple verbal warnings. The warn was valid, as the base was failbase. I will not be lifting the warn.

My bases are definitely not failbase, It breaks none of the basing rules, nor any other rules.

"You cannot have a base that requires special tools/prop climb. It must be raid-able by a single person using a lockpick and/or keypad-cracker."

Quoted from the MOTD, this is the closest rule that you could have used as a reason to consider my base as a fail base.

If it is considered failbase to nullify a keypad cracker at the cost of being able to break through the door at a simple to key presses to get the keypad wrong,

Then why is placing a no collided prop in front of a fading door to nullify lock picks without any downsides except using one prop not failbase?

I say again, the door does not even require a lock pick nor keypad cracker to break through, It only needs you to press two keys, and that's the door done.

"It must be raid-able by one person with a lockpick or keypad-cracker." It cant be raid-able by either of those because there was a no-collided prop which prevented it from being lockpicked, nor could it be opened by a keypad cracker because it is designed to grant access, not deny it. so actually, since it cant be raided with either of those, it is fail. I will not be lifting the warn and thats final.
