For one I never posted a real IP address It was some shit like 72.226.443.333.24 and it was also a joke between me and someone else on the server. Second reason to why I should not be banned, is because I never said anything about DDOS. If I did say "I am going to DDOS" Where is the evidance? Why the fuck would I say some shit like that at all? Check the chat logs for the 30th of Feb nowhere did I say I was going to DDOS. The only thing that was related to DDOS that night was some kid yelling in chat DDOS which was not my intention at all and it wasn't even a fucking IP just random letters and dots. I am honestly offended that there was no thought going into this ban and even after an admin pulled me up for this I still got banned for already clearing it up. It's Bacon Time Posted January 31, 2019 Author Share Posted January 31, 2019 Steve, I did not joke about DDOSing and that was in no way a real ip if it was an ip it'd look like this xx.xxx.xxx.xx (x are numbers). This whole situation is absurd. There was no hard evidence I said such a thing. I honestly enjoy hanging out in the server but this has been one heck of a night I even got blamed for mass rdming when there was someone using my name with two spaces instead of one. Carelos Posted January 31, 2019 Share Posted January 31, 2019 My evidence is in the chat logs you say “Your ip is as follows” then a couple seconds later you put an IP into the chat. What am i supposed to do? Go and spend 10 minutes to find out if it was real? So I asked other staff members and was told to do so. That was my reasoning. And for the attempted DDoS part i was thinking about another situation. Even if you say it as joke you should eventually say like “I’m kidding” or something. I do not think Carelos has been made aware this appeal exists so I’ll tell him about it. If I’m wrong feel free to correct me but it doesn’t seem you need a ban for typing random numbers. If what Carelos said is true then you would deserve a ban. Implication of ddossing is not something anyone will take lightly. How does “Your ip is as follows” have anything to do with me saying I'm going to DDOS. It doesn't if you would pull me into a sit and talk to me about I would tell you it's just a joke between me and a friend.
