Saw the new changelog, I have no issues with it except for one thing: Made it so muting people will persist when rejoining. I feel this will create a bit of a barrier overtime. I mute people frequently for micspam and I hinge on just knowing that if I relog or if they relog they will be unmuted. I think this should either be reverted, or it can be easily seen if you have a player muted. Ex: when you hover over a player, it will tell you if you have them muted. If I am reported and for some reason I have the staff member muted, this can easily cause some issues.

Not referring to staff, simply just the rules of the server, not the staffs interpretation or things I disagree with. It is well known there are gray areas within the rules, thats all im referring to.

There is definitely a way to tighten it and get rid of most wiggle room, there are way too many rules that can be left to the interpretation of players and staff members alike, which causes a lot of issues and tension in the server. I am also going to disregard your second paragraph because this isnt a post referring to any recent events or my report on you, this post is simply to discuss an issue that I have with the server, and many other players as well. Stay on topic.

Its no secret there are a lot of vague rules in the MOTD, and a lot of differing opinion within staff. I couldnt tell you how many times ive been told different things by different staff. Should we actively search in the MOTD and change every rule thats vague or can be misinterpreted, or should we just keep how we have where rules will change once a new scenario is brought to light?

How can you still not explain who made the rule or why its in place? You arent understanding why im bringing it up, im referring to how you say you value education over punishment but the report I made on you proves otherwise. Most staff consider it a negative obviously, because they dont follow those guidelines. I do not need to PM you, nor will I, just simply look around, its extremely easy to spot. Irrelevant, it matters who respects you, not how many people respect you.

I read the MOTD, and I also know of staff interpretations and consensuses from reports which I follow. You are the first to talk about some non-existent unwritten rulebook that you were going off of. Im not bringing up the report itself, im bringing up your idiotic response to it that once again, consisted of no educational value. "Yeah its an unwritten rule, everyone knows about it" How is that educational? Why is it an unwritten rule? Who made it? What purpose does it serve? These are better things to answer then "Yeah uhhh the rule just exists, check the unwritten TitsRP bible" I dont expect perfect obedience, that implies im obedient which im not, im far from it. Im always doing something new or as Cobaselic put it, "Push the envelope". Its simply that I believe that if you are going to hold power and be at a place of power you should suffer the downsides with it which include having to follow the rules always, being respectful, and be somewhat professional. There are very few staff that do all of those. Also, im not sure why you do this "This is the last reply im giving you" like what you said is some type of mic drop moment.

You say you value education, yet last time you banned me for 3 hours and didnt give a legitimate reason as to why I was breaking the rules until I made a forums post, and even then your reason was "Its an unwritten rule and EVERYONE knows it and its enforced all the time" This interaction right here is one of the main ones as to why I do not respect staffs opinions. You do not value education, you value being right by the standards of an egotistical community that is blinded by constant bias. "Thats too bad" this right here, who cares that they put a half assed staff application in, I dont just think, but I know id be a much better staff member then the majority of the team. If I cant give a good point as to why I think im right, I would not punish anyone off of my interpretation because simply put, it feels wrong. Back when I was staff, I was able to shove my bias out of the way so well that even GoshImTrippin, the guy that probably hated me the most out of the whole community, COMMENDED me for my staffing. If I ever thought my bias would be in the way of a sit, I would tell another staff member to take it, and if I was the only one, I would try my best to be as fair as possible. I make reports in game at first and if they arent picked up, I make a report on the forums, simple as that. Im aware that most of my reports can be handled ingame easily, but even after making a new report every 5 minutes and asking in OOC for staff to pick up my sit, it is still rarely taken, including my recent report on Toosi. Most higher ups do not have much of my respect either, there are a few but not many, and the few that are usually arent online.

Dont get me wrong, I have a good time on the server, its probably where I get the most laughs. Its simply that those few times from staff can make a sour experience, which makes me want to just focus on playing and just ignore the players that break rules which is the only part I dont enjoy. Thats why most of my reports and posts are usually at midnight or 1 am, its because I make them after I leave the server.

For me, I enjoy the server and having fun with newer players, not older ones. I mostly enjoy the server and how it plays and functions, not much the community if im being honest. I try my best to better it in whichever ways I can but at the same time it feels like a lost cause. To me, there are very simple solutions to fix most issues with the staff and community that arent being used. The staff are not involved in the community and they dont really feel like people I should respect, its more like the opposite. If im going by a staff members interpretation, I expect the staff member to give an actual good reason as to why they interoperate it, but I never get that reason. Its just like when your parents say "Because I said so" but its much more meaningless because its coming from someone on the internet thats probably younger and less experienced then me.

Cobaselic is pretty laid back so im not sure where this is coming from either. Do all of you just lie or use examples from long ago to judge the character of people nowadays? It seems like it.

I dont know where this consensus came from that Corp reports every little thing that happens, unless it was from way back before I knew him. People break rules on us CONSTANTLY and I do mean that. We both usually play together and for every 10 people that break the rules on us, maybe only 1 gets reported. I dont know why we are magnets for players to break rules on us, it could be our playstyle or something but I guarantee you we rarely report, especially me.
