Not referring to staff, simply just the rules of the server, not the staffs interpretation or things I disagree with. It is well known there are gray areas within the rules, thats all im referring to.

the response you quoted was in response to the reply above, forgot to quote.

  2. Staff are here to follow and enforce MOTD... If any staff say that a rule isn't what it actually is, contact SMOD+. No one ever complained about staff until this recent uproar about staff over the last couple of weeks, and its always the same people making those complaints... Doesn't seem like a staff sided problem, its whoever makes the complaints that can't seem to handle the way the server runs, and it runs the way they don't like it to.

That's all I've got to say here.

  3. (Before I post this, I will not be naming names of the staff members)

I can agree with the lack of sit taking, I recently retired and when I was on that short retirement, there was a staff meeting on the following Saturday, whilst that staff meeting was going on, the staff that were online at the time were saying they can’t take sits during the staff meeting… Spartan also notices this too at the time, I came back to the staff team a few days later to basically prove that sits can be taken literally any time, I also have noticed during the times I am on the server, quite a bit of the time I have to ask in staff chat for staff to help take sits too, I will not be naming those staff members, but those staff members seeing my response know who you are. I too would like to see more discipline on the staff members who are lacking in sits and not doing their duty for the server. I am with you on this Quas

  4. I saw @Jack Johnsonpost an idea in supporter chat and it got me thinking.

He had a great idea for an additional indicator on the HUD/Inventory screen to show which tali's you have active.

What I also thought at the time was:

When you hold C, you get the laws box and there's plenty of room underneath for another piece of UI to be added.

This new UI would show your active talismans, effects from recently eaten food (speed buff, fire rate etc.)

Also it would show the stats of the currently equipped weapon you are holding, basically using the same system that is in place for when you hold your cursor over your guns in your inventory.

I personally think it would be helpful addition, in the sense that raiders will use tali's and keep that tali until their next death, so if they need a reminder which tali's they currently have in effect, they can look at the UI as a quick reminder.

Also this would be great for PD players too, as they often use tali's too such as non lethal tali's.

In general it will benefit anybody as anyone can use tali's for farming/fishing or any other type of job that a talisman can be used as a benefit for.

The reasoning for the weapons indicator is that, when someone is using a weapon and want the best one in their possession/already equipped, they can quickly compare each weapon by having in their hand and taking a quick look into the C menu for the stats and information on the gun.

This could be a really dead idea to some people but honestly, Jack making that suggestion just gave me a little idea for more additions to it too.

Something you'll be doing this summer: I will be hopefully travelling up and down the country for abandoned buildings and starting an Urban Exploration channel documenting the places I go to.
