    Description:

If you thought double pumping was an "exploit" and should be removed just watch the video. The fire rate on the blundergat gun is absurd and outrageously overpowered since the Double Pump nerf update. Why nerf something that isn't broken just to break shit like this? Why fix something that isn't broken?

    How to reproduce:

Just fire the blundergat rapidly, no double pumping, no fuss. Just spam the fire button.

I would have reported this last night shortly after midnight but the forums website seemed to be down.

@mcdonalds wifi makes a good point. Staff should wait for multiple staff responses before deciding on it. In fact this is usually covered in training from T-Mod -> Mod. Unless the case is cut and dry where there is either enough evidence to support the ban or zero evidence provided to the contrary, an appeal or report should be left open for some time.

If you see a specific staff member who has a pattern of swiftly denying their own reports or appeals where there is a valid case of misconduct or a false ban, you should notify a higher staff member.

This makes a lot more sense and looking back at my examples some were definitely written with almost no effort.

  3. Why are staff able to deny/accept/close a report or an appeal that is either a report on them, or an appeal about a sit they handled? I feel this doesn't make a lot of sense at all as a justice system. It lets staff emphasize their own bias on a situation.

It's like if a supposed rape victim is the only juror in the court trial of his/her own rapist.
    Examples:

  4. I'd be all for this but there would need to be like a 30 day advertised warning prior to this happening.

Any money I have I would be donating to people who want shit for their CC as my own CC doesn't need it.

  5. This is just double pumping, it's been a thing for a long time. Either use it yourself or find another method. Keep in mind this only works with Shotguns and therefore close combat only, anything farther than a room's length this isn't very viable as the shotgun damage drop off is too much. -1

Are you really this upset that Big Ass killed you? You are literally the shittiest mayor on the whole server, a nazi roleplayer with a room temperature IQ and you just camp in the mayors office with 50 legendaries. Be grateful that the game even lets you play the game like a dictator, and stop crying just because someone got fed up enough with your bullshit to cereal you out of office. -1 cry some more

Bro, it sounds like you're way more butthurt than he is; Zesty has been here for a long time and his experience really shows when he's mayor. An amazing PD dupe and Legendaries can't go very far at all if there's no experience backing them. This seems like a simple case of you're butthurt because you simply can't get-good. Side note: Jaywalking laws are super easy to avoid if you just train yourself to not jaywalk and actually use crosswalks.

Cereal is a dirty trick and the ability to teleport the mayor specifically should be removed from that pickle power. I feel if it isn't removed, mayor's will just tell a buddy to take the pickle role indefinitely so no one can teleport them. Very hard for anyone to notice that, very hard to prove that in a sit, and is failrp. +1

Sledgehammers will still cause damage to whomever walks over them if the sledgehammer was thrown and never hit anyone. Not sure if this is a bug or intended.

Throw a sledgehammer, let the hammer stop on the floor, walk over the hammer and it causes quite a bit of damage.

So many models on the CC editor have 100 health and can raid, but still only do half damage. This is the 3rd time this bug report claim has been made and it's been about 2 months, can this please be corrected?
Video to prove it's still an issue: https://streamable.com/fxwrzo (This wasn't ARDM as he allowed me to shoot him)
    https://forums.titsrp.com/topic/14073-model-reduced-damaged/
    https://forums.titsrp.com/topic/13924-50-reduced-dmg/

    How to reproduce:

Nanight's Kurotsuno model, and many more listed in previous bug reports. I am also noticing that some models that have been added within the last 2 months can still have this issue from the get go.

He would be punished for ARDM, which you can most definitely be warned for.

Where is the official document that says this punishment is viable? You seem to quote the rules a lot except when it only conveniences you.

    30 minutes ago, Cobaselic said:

Don't raid bases with building signs, call a sit. Cause guess what happens if you raid a base for a boombox? You get punished. If you think there's entities, you call a sit. Simple.

And what happens if a player raids the public base that DOES have a legitimate entity in it? Does the raider still get punished? You keep acting like the person raiding just magically knows that's a boombox or that's just a prop.

    30 minutes ago, Cobaselic said:

The fuck are you talking about?

It's a hypothetical, is it too complex for you or should I dumb it down for you? I'm pointing out that I really don't know what you mean by common sense, if there is nothing common or sensical about the entire situation. A person being fooled isn't going understand they're being fooled until it's too late.

    30 minutes ago, Cobaselic said:

I'm not even gonna respond to the sewer lord shit because you added nothing here to it. The player posing as sewer lord would be told not to do that, again, simple.

And then what if Mr Sewer Lord then decides to impersonate an Abomination rampage by making himself an Abomination, eating big food, and then having a crowbar out swinging it like a maniac but not hitting anyone? Are you just going to tell him not to do that either? I supposed you could but then he could just become an Undercover Cop that's disguised as a Baby, then reports RDM when he gets killed by a Pedophile. You can then tell him to stop THAT too, but then he can just become a black market dealer, give himself an AK-47 which he shoots wildly non-stop and hitting noone, but then files a sit when someone kills him thinking he's a Terrorist and so on and so forth.

The point I'm making here is without a punishment, the person can literally do this almost infinitely, but nothing in the current rules says you can warrant a punishment for that.

We have logs, the person with the dogbite swep would be punished. The person that killed the pet would be told to check logs next time. The pet wouldn't have lost any sort of weapons or anything seeing as how pets can't carry anything. No need to punish the reaction when you can deal with the problem itself.

You are ignoring the factor that this is still RDM. The pet can't attach weapons but they CAN use talismans, melee, and food buffs. Under what tense would the Dogbite swep person be "punished"? Dogbite person did nothing wrong with the current rulings other than maybe ARDM which has no punishment according to Proper Punishment Time and Reasons forum post; and saying that's ARDM is debatable if the Dogbite person only bit the victim once knowing the dogbite only does like 20 damage.

Call a staff member, simple solution. They would be told to get rid of the fading door.

You act like a player who actually wants that hypothetical printer is going to do this. A player who actually wants that printer is going to call a sit asking the base owner to remove the Public Base sign (which is what the sit will originally be called for) just so he can raid the person and completely ruin his entire chance to catch the base owner off guard? Or better yet, let's say that boombox was a legitimate printer and the public base sign is removed after a sit that told the base owner to remove the public base sign. Any smart base owner is going to change that sign to a building sign, and then take the time to actually reinforce the base, which does not help the raider at all.

The Gandalf shit does one damage and makes a little blip noise. The staff makes a big whoosh noise. Like, I see where you're coming from, but this scenario is a stretch.

I didn't even know there was a difference in sound until now and therefore you can't assume every player is going to know that difference in sound. This is still RDM and very possible. Saying the scenario is a stretch and dismissing it that way is like seeing bigass dog poop on the carpet and saying, "Oh, it must have been a mouse."

I would literally say "you changed your job name and model to Sewer lord and ran around in the sewers trying to get people to RDM, what did you expect to happen?". This falls under the same category of changing your job name and model to "Hobo" and micspamming, which is not allowed. He would be told to change his shit.

You can tell the person that it was his own fault, and that's fine. Punishment may not be given but this is still RDM and punishment could be given with the "DO NOT attempt to fool others into breaking rules". I'm not saying a punishment should be given as the intention as staff is to teach, but that half-assed Sewer Lord could easily just get another idea to trick someone and try that one.

All of your examples are either something that can be easily handled by staff, fall under common sense, or are just grasps at straws.

Pinkteron literally spent an hour moving shit around his base last night for the simple intent of fooling people into raiding him, if that isn't grasping at straws I don't know what is. The examples I just gave could be tried out by literally anyone in 2mins. NOT SAYING ANYONE SHOULD.

We have a pretty easy-to-learn rule that states "DO use common sense".

I don't know if your implementation of common sense is the same as mine, but if someone hypothetically tells me to mop the floor, but then yells at me later for mopping that same floor but never told me that the floor wasn't water proof; who's the real person at fault there?

I'm not asking for much here, literally one line be added to rules.

    No.

Just because you're dumb and got baited by props doesn't mean we should just implement the "im a dumbass please stop people from bullying me" rule.

My report is only an example and it was accepted anyways. The intent is to prevent this in the future.

I can think of other examples:
-Someone with a Dogbite item which has absolutely no animation could come up to someone and bite them while a pet is nearby. Naturally, the victim thinks it's the pet so he kills the pet that did nothing for RDM.
-Make a public base with a closed off area protected by a fading door with keypad, and in that area there is a boombox playing printer noises.
-Lightsaber ignite someone while Gandalf is nearby, naturally the victim thinks it's Gandalf and RDMs Gandalf.
-Making a CC have the Sewer Lord model and running around in the sewers with adrenaline with fist out just so people think you are the sewer lord and therefore try to kill you which would technically be RDM.

  12. Could we implement a rule that says something similar to the following:

"DO NOT attempt to fool other players into breaking rules."

This would be something that would really have to be enforced based on staff's best judgement call. Staff would need to determine if the intent was to fool players, or there was no intent at all. The punishment for breaking this rule would be up to staff and would heavily depend on how many people were effected by the scheme that is trying to fool other players. Referencing my own warn appeal from last night, especially the streamable and imgur evidence.

  13. As I said in the initial post the issue occured very rarely so saying I'm not having an issue anymore is very premature. Close this thread for now, I'll make another bug report if it happens again. For now I did switch off of Chromium.

    Bug

    Priority:

    Low

    Description:

https://streamable.com/p7kkkt I really don't know how to explain what happened but whatever happened caused my FPS to lock at 2FPS and never return to a normal 30FPS. I also couldn't respawn and had to rejoin. This is the second time this has happened to me. The first time was nearly the same except I wasn't consuming food or anything, I was just standing there near fountain. Whatever this bug maybe, it's very rare to occur as the first instance happened about 2 weeks ago. Saiko was helping me investigate slogs as I had to rejoin https://i.gyazo.com/16e95465c9902322097ac66e9f6fb8bb.png.

    How to reproduce:

    I really don't know, watch https://streamable.com/p7kkkt
  15. Could the location of Vinny the VIP Seller NPC be moved to a location that has less traffic? He's an NPC that is hardly ever used yet he's placed in the epicenter of the map's busiest area, right outside of PD. I also don't understand that for some reason, at least on my client, Vinny is the only NPC that fails to render fast enough before I collide with him on a regular basis. See https://streamable.com/bfi0g3 for exactly what I'm talking about.

  16. Could we get an optional version of the rules that's not separated into different sections? Like an optional single webpage format version or PDF version; this way it would be much faster to look through as things like Find (ctrl+f) exist and for some people a printable version of the rules may be nice. Making a single webpage or PDF version would make finding specific rulings much faster instead of having to guess at which section of the rules the desired ruling may be under.

  17. 1. There kind of already is a voting system in place for specialty CP. I don't think making an extra vote for CP Commander and Swat Chief is necessary, however making those 2 jobs VIP only would be nice. Indifferent

    2. For specialty CP, putting a very low minimum play timer on this is fine. An hour or so. Don't agree with putting the minimum on all CP. +1 kinda

    3.

     See final paragraph.

    4. heck to the no, raising maximum fines to 20k sounds like an awful idea. Considering a new joining player only starts with 30k and the first law almost any new player breaks is jaywalking. So the new player theoretically just dropped to 10k after one offense and the suddenly can't even afford to start making Meth. -1

    5. -1

    6. Terrible idea, yes lets give all the corrupt power to the police. The Mayor serves the people, not his police force. With what you suggest, a good mayor to the police force is a mayor who makes absolutely the most absurd money grabbing laws. -1

    7. +1 this needs to happen ASAP. I always joke that Judge Gaben and Demolitionist aren't actually roles; they just exist to make MRDM easier.

    8. Indifferent here, I don't like it when PD just barges into everything for no reason, but they are given the breaching spas for the specific reason to make barging into places easier. If you've ever used the battering ram, it's not near as efficient as the breaching spas. I don't think the Spas needs to be removed, I think the warrant system needs a rework.

    9. Indifferent, the bite effect is bugged, but so few gangs even actually have the perk and I've never even had it used on me before so changing this, or just fixing this, would honestly not make any difference to me.

    10. +1 kinda, I feel a gang should be able to change their name once and only once, when the gang reaches max level. Giving a gang the ability to just change name willy nilly, seems exploitable.

    11. I like the idea of a fixed role play location set in real life, but this would honestly work way better when a newer map comes around. That way map locations can be tied to real life locations.

    12. Meh

  18. Refusal to improve yourself is refusal to succeed.

In other words, just learn to build and defend better. There is plenty of ways to make C4 very difficult for raiders to work with, you just have to get creative.

    -1 in that regards.
