Why should you be unbanned?: because I really didn't deserve to be banned in the first place, the "respected" member Piklas and the moderator basically ganged up on me and I wasn't even given a chance to do anything about it (I'll be uploading the logs).

Alright, this is gonna be a long one and it's over a 2 hour ban simply because injustice was done. There was no reason for me to be banned, if anything (if you consider what I did breaking the rules, which I don't) I should've been kicked. I don't even see this going far either because I imagine everyone is going to side with a respected member over a random. but regardless, if you can't see how this is messed up and wrong; you're part of the problem.

 

so to start this off, I didn't even prop block. It was a fading door that could easily be cracked and I made damn sure of that before Piklas even showed up. I was trying to make my base when they swooped in and took the door because they have that speed boost or whatever that allows them to go 10x the speed I can. Then they had the audacity to report me for propblocking when I rightfully got there first. anyways; here's the details:

 

after the restart I was rushing to make a base where Piklas usually does. As I was making a door where they usually put theirs, they rushed in with that ungodly speed they have and owned the door just SECONDS before I was able to. then told me to remove my doors because they "own this area". I was baffled at the fact that they really just swooped in and grabbed it from me so I tried to get a mod to help me considering I didn't deem that as fair. Then I realized they already contacted the mod, daegos, because he knew already about the situation before I even spoke. I began to start explaining my side of it where he just blatantly sided with Piklas right away and I saw that coming but not to the extent that it was drug out. I understand that they may have gotten to the door before me so they did technically get the area, that's whatever now I guess. but it's still screwed up how that is accepted. I'm more just shocked at how the situation was handled by the staff, I was not even warned, they didn't even ASK me to remove the doors. They just basically said I was wrong as I tried to explain my side of it, then banned me. So that was not handled correctly whatsoever. I've ran and helped with plenty of gmod dark rp servers, and I actually enjoyed this one when I played it up until now, but judging from my experience, that's not how the situation should've been handled. Even if I was in the wrong which I still barely believe I am, that's not grounds for banning someone. 

 

and as I said up there, I highly doubt this will have anything come from it bc of their ranks vs me being a random. but I'm asking that you really look past and see that this is wrong. I'm currently rendering the video I recorded but it's literally just me trying to build and him running up and taking it, telling me to leave, then the logs I'm gonna put under here. so if that's needed or whatever; fine by me but I'm gonna just post this appeal first. (not to get unbanned bc I'll be unbanned before this is even looked at most likely, but more to just shed some light on these two people who are supposed to be making the server look good.

uncle tark: and no doors opened.                             ---- this as well is an issue because I was constantly trying to get in his base before the restart but couldn't bc he'd kill me but I cracked it once when he wasnt there and no doors even opened.

and that is the entirety of the logs from when the server restarted up until I got banned other than all the other random people talking n everything else going on in the chat, none of it was modified and actually, I'll upload the full unaltered version to a pastebin: https://pastebin.com/M7DJabre

 

once again, this isn't really an appeal but more of a report on the player and mod who banned me in the first place because under NO GROUNDS did it deserve the bad, nor was it an appropriate way for the mod to handle situation and that's based on my 7 years of owning, running, and working on servers for garry's mod.

 

as stated above, if a video is wanted, I'll deliver but I don't really see it necessary after this given proof. You guys can even check the logs yourself. It was directly after the server restart.

and I'd also like to add the interaction was clearly me vs them because they didn't really even consider what I had to say, and piklas was salty because I got there first. It's childish to an EXTREME level where I was just trying to be fair and speak my points. That's a terrible look for a server that I actually enjoyed playing on; and still plan to. Just hope justice is done about it.

Purge is not nor has ever been a thing. All moderators know this. Most moderators know trying to start a purge would result in a demote.

 

 

The owner of the MOST doors in a base is the owner. Not the owner of the front door.

You had props in front of his base and refused to remove them even after you received a warning. 

Bans are reserved for people who refuse to understand what they have done wrong or have done so much wrong they shouldn't be allowed on the server.

If you really can't understand why you're wrong to have props blocking the door to his base, I'm going to thank you for providing this positive feedback for daegos.

 

You were told multiple times, respectfully, that you need to own the doors to own the base. The person who owns the doors owns the base. Piklas owns the doors so he owns the base. If you don't want to own the doors and want to spend 5 minutes doing other things and come back to the doors and wonder why someone else owned them, that's not our responsibility. 

 

You were told to remove the props and did not. You were told multiple times the base was not yours but you refused to remove the props blocking them. 

It does not matter that the props have a fading door, you can't put props in front of other people's bases.  I don't understand how you couldn't understand this.

 

Everything in this sit was done correctly except corrective action taken by the player reported. Even after being warned AND banned, you refuse to correct your behavior.
