I thought it was just another rando minger and thought no staff were online. So I came back to kill him so the people in the street didn't have to deal with him. Killed him, he jailed me. Then banned be for 3 days for " NlR/RRDM/ Watch me/. Why should you be unbanned?: I had no active warns even though I did have revenge rdm in the past few weeks or so I did not deserve the ban. Firstly, you don't know the backstory of what happened.Secondly, there is a command called !staff . Walter the Assaulter Posted January 21, 2018 Share Posted January 21, 2018 You intentionally went back and killed somebody you had no business killing because you didn't bother to ask him why he was doing what he was doing (killing people during a raid? Why would anybody EVER do that?), so you should be unbanned because while you did revenge RDM previously you think you shouldn't be banned for so long. RDM for no discernible RP reason is up to a 3 day ban. Why should you be unbanned? Edit: Also, "watch me." You're leaving something interesting out. Mr. Peanut Butter Posted January 21, 2018 Share Posted January 21, 2018 The incident began while I was doing a private security gig at the beach, at the time known as "Docktown" due to all the fishing docks tthat were set up, and I was hired to police them as "Docktown Security". During an interaction I was having with some of the citizens in the area, a massive group of CP swarmed the street north of the beach and (unbelievably fast I should add), which included cuffing people, and tasing and shooting uncooperative people and runners, and even setting up a perimeter of cement barriers and signs that read something along the lines of "CRIME SCENE / CP AREA / DO NOT ENTER". I am literally not kidding when I say all of this happened an undeniably impressive total of 10 seconds. I was one that was cuffed and they moved me and a couple other cuffed subjects into the apartment on the east side of the dead end street north of the beach, along with their cp perimeter. They uncuffed me for an unknown reason and ordered me to get against the wall farther from the street and turn around, which I did after putting my hands up and then on the back of my head on my own accord. During the confusion, the 2 CPs in charge of searching me got distracted by a disturbance outside the building and a disturbance upstairs. I turned my head and noticed all their backs were turned to me in such a way that I was able to escape by running out the door and westbound down to the dead end of the road and then into the alley behind the apartments. At this time I realized that I was injured and needed medical attention, so I applied my self-carried medkits to myself, and then I got my long gun, a Scar Semi/Full Auto Carbine Rifle, off of my back and began to open fire on what I believed to be Rogue CP in an attempt to save my fellow citizens and beach-goers, in the process killing and injuring several of them at their perimeter outside the earlier mentioned apartment, and more of them as they poured outside due to the shots fired and fired back at me after noticing my location. Due to the ensuing chaos of the gunfight and my gun facing eastward down the street toward the park district, I can assume that several bullets will have strayed off after missing the CP and crossfired some innocent bystandards behind, since nobody has perfect aim without hax, and thus I do not blame what happened immediately after on the individual involved. While we were exchanging fire and taking cover, and repeating, I noticed that a CP was advancing on me, and so I suppressed fire on the CP until they fell dead, which is when I also saw a non-CP appear behind at somewhat of an angle, to the rear-left of the now downed CP, also advancing on me with small arms fire directed at me from what looked to be a powerful handgun. I took cover and reloaded, before popping out of cover one last time to end the threat of what I had already assumed was a crossfire victim who also felt that their life was at risk and therefore one of us was going to die, and it wasn't going to be me, so I fired several shots at the individual's lead in order to force them into my line of fire and put them down. The few CP that were left were either fleeing the gunfire or unaware of my location and status or both, and so I returned to the alley, put my rifle away, and went to bandage my new wounds with my self-carried medkit. That's the RP part, since you were confused. This is where it gets meta. The crossfired individual, the Original Poster of this thread, returned to the exact spot I was still in at the alley right after spawning, right after I had just killed them. I didn't even think that they would be the type to do this and was so unaware that I did not notice their approach until they had already gunned me down with another pistol, and caused me to lose one of my few self-carried medkits :c . I jailed the perpetrator after the kill, and then respawned myself and teleported to them to interview them. During the interview, the subject had accused myself of RDM, to which I replied something along the lines of "it was crossfire, but even if it was RDM it's still not allowed to come back and attack, because you don't know that it was". I asked the subject if they understood and they instead seemed to be in denial to the point that I had to explain to them that revenge is an intention. I checked their warns and saw prior warns for NLR and RRDM, and then I told them that they had already had the rule explained to them on more than one occasion. I was using voice chat to speak with this subject and so when I started typing I assume they already realized what was about to happen, because they started screaming "This is bullshit! You can't ban me! this is a false ban! etc" So I added "watch me" as a personal note attached to the end of the ban which is maximum at 3 days for NLR | RRDM due to the lack of understanding, lack of cooperation, their false reasoning, and their overall behaviour during the entire situation, which humiliating enough for the subject, I feel EVEN MORE Confident in that the ban was 9000% justified based on that they entirely incriminate themself in this very appeal. *Why were you banned?: Coming back to kill staff member Mentor Peanut Butter, After ( what seems ) He was minging and killing random cops doing a raid. I see what I did was wrong. Also don't take this personalty Butter I'm having a bit of life issues and did'nt mean to take out my stress on you. I will take one of the 3 days off of your ban so that it's about halfway over, since it's been about a day already, and I want you to use the second half of your ban to reread the rules, and also now think about how you play and how you could improve the way you play so that it's as fair and as enjoyable as possible for everyone.
