You were. By making "jokes" calling someone a pedophile and talking about "cp" is normalizing the discussion. Just because Gmod, the sandbox game that anyone can do anything on, allows terrible things doesn't mean TitsRp ever will

 

Also, jokes about the exploitation of children are never funny. Genuine children play on this server, it's a terrible look to promote this speech then act like it's fine in an appeal.

Making jokes involving pedophilia, accusatory (even jokingly) or broadly explicit actions involving children are not allowed

Under no circumstances should it be involved period. Children above the age of 13 play on this server, there is no excuse.

Not only is this ban explicitly within guidelines but future accusations or explicit involvement of children only get worse as chef soda said.

Calling someone a pedo does not normalize the discussion on pedophilia. It's actually not illegal to be a pedophile (while vile and morally wrong), its illegal to act on the crimes that being a pedophile can cause. I didn't make jokes about the exploitation of children, do not put words in my mouth, thanks.

TOS 0.3.3 says that name-calling and accusations without a proper report are actions that are prohibited. You threw an accusation out and you got banned in accordance with the punishment guidelines.
