Gods Left Testicle How long were you warned or banned for? 8 days Hello staff, I'd like to appeal my ban for Mass RDM. I understand why the situation may have looked that way from the logs, but I genuinely believed I was acting within the server's rules. I'm a new player on the server and was honestly pretty clueless about some of the server's specific rules. During the incident, I was working as security for a casino, and the casino owner had hired me and told me to defend the property. Because of that, I mistakenly believed I was allowed to kill people on the property as part of my job. I now understand that I misunderstood how the server expects those situations to be handled. I wasn't trying to troll, mass RDM, or ruin anyone's experience. It was an honest misunderstanding on my part because I was still learning the server's rules. Looking back, I should have asked staff or read the rules more carefully instead of assuming I understood them. I'm genuinely sorry for the mistake. I really enjoyed playing on the server and would appreciate another chance to prove I can follow the rules properly. If I'm unbanned, I'll take the time to learn the server's rules so something like this doesn't happen again. Second sit shows that I found players Steam_ID and the logs are as follows. I remember asking a member of staff what I should do because player wasn't online, and I was told to treat it as regular RDM. Originally the ban was going to be a 3D ban because I couldn't bring player into the sit, then I was questioned why it's a 3D and not a 7D. I corrected my ban before I finalized it with the Moderator who was on duty at the time. Vex Posted July 25 Share Posted July 25 This ban is justified, I am just confused looking at the death logs alone, are you just killing everyone that went into the Casino? Would be an easy way for the Casino owner to just never have customers. It's called TitsRP-Tits Roleplay, so I am unsure where you mowing down a bunch of people in a gambling establishment quite fits into the RP scenario here. You can definitely use this time to read up on the rules for RDM/NLR and specific job rules you may play before your ban expires to avoid this happening in future. -1 for Reduction or unban. One step I initially overlooked was checking your prior warnings. Aside from the MRDM, you have a clean slate. What stood out more was that you disconnected shortly after the alleged MRDM. I’m +1’ing a reduction to a 3-day ban, which will remain on your record. I’d prefer to treat this as a regular RDM case with the maximum penalty due to my negligence, given that you left the server less than 10 seconds after your last victim. In my view this amounts to RDM + LTAP; however, under current guidelines I can’t formally enforce the LTAP allegation. I can still justify applying the maximum RDM punishment on these grounds. Bottom Line Up Front: +1: Reduction to 3-day ban. As a staff member you have final say in punishment, there is no minimum time for any mass ban, if it was an accident you can verbal, or even give a 1 hour ban.
