custom models wont load for me and will automatically change to a normal gmod model

whenever someone is using a custom model for me it just shows them as a normal gmod model, and when I change models for my cutsom it says the model is fucked in the model swapper but it shows up for everyone else when I switch?

I have had it downloaded for like a year, i even deleted and redownloaded it and it still wont work

Try opening the F4 menu and going to the jobs tab. You should see a blue banner at the top that says "download optional server content". Click it and subscribe to all. If that doesn't work, something is preventing gmod from downloading anything from the workshop (storage full, client settings, network issues, etc)
