I initially joined the server and read the rules, however, I was not aware that reshade was something forbidden as I had forgotten that it injects its DLLs into the game, I like to use reshade to use filters like RTGI to make my game look cool but I now understand that it can also be used for an unfair advantage and separated my gmod installation with a normal one and one with reshade installed Who warned/banned you? tututoller Posted April 5 Author Share Posted April 5 (edited) Hey sorry for the late reply but in the day I got banned I can only think of two(?) things that could be counted as modified files or injections I guess those being the gwater 2 files and the reshade dlls i'm just really hoping i could get this ban revoked because i've had reshade on my gmod install for so long that i forgot about it, and i barely play multiplayer to the point where i forgot that i should turn it off before hopping on a multiplayer server this server seems fun and nice to hang out in and it really was just a dumb mistake on my part that shouldn't have happened in the first place *I also remember having a theme addon for gmod that required replacing the menu.lua script but i don't know if the server detects for that however i did delete the mod just recently and re-verified game files to ensure that it has the old menu.lua Edited April 5 by tututoller adding more details (again) Link to comment https://forums.titsrp.com/topic/24872-banned-because-of-reshade/#findComment-176049 Share on other sites More sharing options...
