'Player Tox'. Why should you be unwarned/unbanned? Because I wasn't being a toxic player? Who warned/banned you? Tali How long were you warned or banned for? 2 day ban So someone had said the word '******' on the server, obviously using it as a 'slur'. I correctly pointed out that the word '******' is not a slur because it is the name of a classic British dish which composes of meatballs. Not sure how that's being toxic? It's literally foiling a toxic player by the fact that the word '******' means meatballs? If we all used words for what they're supposed to be used for, I'm sure EVERYONE can agree that the world would be a much better place. Instead of getting offended over a little word like Tali did, and we educated and understood what proper English is, we wouldn't be bringing up a world full of snowflakes that can get hurt over words that do not actually mean offensive things. But for simply saying '****** means meatballs', I was banned for player tox? Way to go, snowflakes!! Guess using a word for what it's actually for is more toxic than literally being unconsensually touched by an alien, or running around committing terrorist attacks on police officers? Not sure what kind of mental illnesses ya'll are dealing with? But there is help out there... Madx2r0 Posted January 18 Share Posted January 18 You and I know that the word can be used as a slur, what it means in one country isn't what its used for on the internet, especially if the guidelines and rules say explicitly not to use any hateful language on the server. If you use a slur in the server, you will be punished, your argument is something out of kindergarten, and pinging the banning staff and server owner isn't the correct etiquette to get your appeal seen faster.. I literally said '****** means meatball'? Explain how thats called being toxic??? If I'd used the word beforehand and then tried to say it means meatball, I'd understand but I didn't? I don't agree with people using "nigga" either, I dont make the rules, however just because one slur is allowed do we allow them all in your eyes? Also it appears that you were testing the waters with saying it, as the banning admin just told someone in OOC not to say that word, and you fresh off of a player Tox ban decided to try and justify a slur. If you would have read our rules, you would know this. The word you said is pretty common knowledge to be a slur nowadays. I'm not saying I agree with " Nigga " being allowed, but I can assure you the other ones are not. It doesn't matter what context it is said in, it is still against our rules. But you shouldn't put a blanket ban over a word just because it CAN be used as a slur? And I didn't see what Tali wrote regarding putting it in OOC. I was replying to someone who mentioned that it could be used for a bundle of sticks, or a cigarette?
