I was banned for the NLR and demoting players. I went back to the area because I was being harassed (video evidence). The rules aren't clear about the specifics. I demoted the disruptive players to try and improve the game. I'm sorry if I caused any problems. I will follow the rules in the future. Please reconsider my ban. I want to play on the server again. I'd also like to point out that I have been the target of ongoing harassment, including baseless comments on previous forum posts. This harassment continues in-game and on the forums. The video clearly shows the other player violating NLR and recognizing me, even after I changed my in-game name, demonstrating the persistent nature of this harassment.

This also incudes direct harassment by F___ himself. I feel like this ban was quite biased as he will not leave me alone either.

Proof of Harold making comments that make no sense, nor was he even part of the original report, just to minge on the forums too.
The comments have no basis and it was determined that its an alley, and only hobos can build in there.

During the sit in which I had banned you there were 2 reports. 

The first was you reporting Harold for RDMing you, which after I looked into the logs and saw him warning you in chat 3 times before killing you I told you as such. 

 

The bigger issue was the second and third sit. One made by and the other made by the guy you reported. During this sit you claimed he had RDMed you while you were trying to complete your bounty, the bounty target of which was his party member and was basing at that time. So when his party member told him a bounty hunter was coming for him and you were the only bounty hunter seeking entry to his base he had killed you, which during this sit I had told you as such. 

 

The ban reason for false demotes and NLR, the nlr was because you came back and kept trying to interact with the person who had killed you. The false demote was because when you had made a sit against the person who killed you instead of letting someone claim it you decided to demote them 10 seconds after calling the sit.

This is not the first time you have done this, infact only a few days prior you had done this to another player who had killed you with a valid reason which lead to a warning, however looking back on that after I had issued the warning it had been your 4th time being punished for and should have resulted in a ban, but that's my bad for being a bit lenient.

 

The reason the ban was a month is primarily because we cannot restrict someone for calling for demotes, otherwise I would have done this instead. There is also no specified length set out in the guidelines for calling false demotes so after discussing with the other staff at the time we had decided a month ban was fitting considering the previous instances of punishment for this and just how toxic you are towards everyone in the community.

 

Also as for the clip of me "raiding" you, I don't recall ever seeing a building sign on the building not that it matters in this case anyways, I didn't break anything to enter this base, the front door was wide open and I was doing a hit someone had placed on you, which you can pop up in the bottom right when I kill you. I'm not sure where this idea of harassment from me is coming from, all I ever see coming from you is accusations of biased for taking sits from you then accusation of biased when I ignore sits from you, so it just seems like no matter what I do I'm just out to get you.

After all this time of seeing you on the server you've never changed, you always say everyone is just out to get you and targets you for no reason, there is a reason, the reason is you harass everyone else and target anyone who's having fun in a game because it seems like you're incapable of doing as such. As much I'd like to say I hope you can use this time that you're banned to reflect I know you won't and will just come back and continue to do the same thing until you eventually get removed for it.

I never had the chance to meet you but looking through everything I would agree you just need a month off you need to take the time to reflect 

 

I will keep this short due to me never encountering you but from what I see your response vs F I am -1  but maybe your ban could be shorter if you could come back and not be a toxic player and just enjoy the sever for what it is

I was being followed by these people....... They were interacting with me, I was actually EATING IRL,  in the main PUBLIC square by the fountain. These fools kept following me and harassing me, proof in the video with the useless dialogue captured. I have been followed on multiple occasions to the point people were getting 3-7 day bans for repeated harassment.

Still unsure how I violated NLR.

I dont think this is a very good reason to give a 1 month ban over such a minor infraction. Are we seriously saying "I would have given a month vote restrict but since I can't im just full banning you for a month" in what world is that ban equal to what he did?


As for the other -1, what does him being toxic have to do with this ban at all.

After viewing all the evidence I am confused how this constitutes a month ban. He does have previous punishments for false votes so I would consider a ban correct in this situation. This ban is for false votes and nlr not for toxicity so lets stay on topic. I would say a week ban maximum in this situation would be correct as this player has no previous bans for this. I would suggest the other staff members responding to do their due diligence when reading reports and ban appeals. Players come here to seek justice and to give them a low effort response is quite disrespectful to their time when they take the time to submit evidence.
