I never really interacted with you directly but you seemed sweet, seeing this from you is kind of unexpected. Honestly, I don’t know why you thought you would get away with this or why you had this severe of a response to getting punished for it. I know how the server can be, though— I get it. My two cents here is that it’s best not to assume malice to what could just be oversight. I know I definitely don’t catch every broken rule on the server, and sometimes I have to turn my brain off and stop taking sits so I can enjoy the game itself. With your loss, we lose a valuable piece of representation in this community. I’m sorry you didn’t feel at home here. Keep the original MRDM ban as is. +1 for 6 month staff ban. Maybe if she was a new player and didn’t understand the rules but she was staff and one for quite a bit to understand the MRDM rules, also like Decent said another person reported her which adds up to 3. Plain and simple meta quest MRDMd as staff and got banned for the fair amount of time. Maybe YOU are the person who is personally bias to Meta Quest as everyone agrees that they should keep the ban. Making it 6 months implies we KNOW that you wont do it again after 6 months, but to be completely honest with you, I don't think that's the case. The original post was way more drama mongering than an attempt to appeal anyway. I just wanted to leave this up for other staff members to understand the situation surrounding this player and gain context on it. Regarding a staff ban, this will be discussed among SMOD+ in the coming days.
