The incident was that an alien had constricted Spectate at fountain, which got me stuck in them. They were afk on civ in the middle of fountain, so I just killed them to get unstuck as I didn't really think it was necessary to make a sit. Five minutes later, I got pulled into a sit, explained, and got warned for RDM. I don't really see how what I did was problematic, the warning in question was given because spectate "lost items", but I don't see why that justifies an rdm warn, especially since you can refund the items. I just don't think going straight to an rdm warn was the right call here.

From what I can make out from logs you did not try, even remotely, to get unstuck before just shooting Spectate. You did not warn him, call a sit, or asking for help from nearby players. I'm not sure a clip would even benefit this situation because there is just no reason to instantly resort to killing the other player. I believe this warn is justified because Spectate was afk on his CC for a minute (probably tabbed out) then lost items to this. Your argument in the sit was Spectate should not have gone afk with items at fountain which I don't understand that defense. Him losing items doesn't change the fact that you blatantly RDM'd him. You are not being warned just because Spectate lost items, you are being warned because you RDM'd Spectate. No player should have to play around someone else breaking the rules, that's not a defense that's an excuse. Almost all of your warns are for RDM, you should know what RDM is. Not to mention, you were just warned for RDM less than a week ago.

 

Staff were actively taking sits at the time too as before this sit I banned a guy for Ego for MRDM/NITRP. Henchy was taking sits as well at the same time. We were swamped with sits but I'm sure any of the 6 staff on at the time would be over the moon to take a "Help I'm stuck sit".

Usually stuck players call for staff and don't just immediately shoot the person they are stuck in (from what I've experienced). also after a while the game should just get both of you unstuck, it's not worth just shooting each other since there's the risk of RDM and losing valuable items. and yes "I'm stuck sits" are incredibly easy, and any staff would most likely be willing to take it since anytime I'm on they get taken in a heartbeat. I would just learn from this so it doesn't happen again in the future.
