Report on PLANTLOVER1952, IMPERSONATION, EXPLOITING, FAILRAIDS

if this was a problem why wasnt anything done like a kick or bringing the player to a sit? this was obviously encouraged and celebrated. The most punishment this player should get is a verbal note for exploiting into someones base. If the reporting player wasnt parading around this base with the player who exploited and there was any actual damage done i would be fine with more than a verbal.

you never tried to stop it. you never mentioned it in staff chat. you never kicked him, you never warned him, you never banned him, you never tped him, you never messaged him, you did literally nothing. 

Exploit is exploit, and you as a MODERATOR, did NOTHING to stop this 'exploit' despite being 100% AWARE of it. if anything you were allowing him to exploit by doing no actions at all, not even a message to him to tell him to stop. 
How are you sticking with the exploit is exploit point when mod is mod doesn't stand and you dont have to be a mod against him you can just go back to being less than a regular player and forums reporting - 8 staff were online, you as a staff, if scared of bias, could have called a sit for another staff to take. You as a staff, if scared of bias, could have asked in mod chat for opinions. You as a staff, did nothing and were fine with him exploiting.

Exploit is exploit, so why did you allow him to exploit for so long and didn't handle it ingame? As I said in my previous post, you did not do it to shed light, nor did you do it because you were scared of bias, any good / knowledgeable staff member would have posted it in staff chat to ''shed light'' to other staff, and they also would have asked any of the other 8 staff online or any of the staff in mod chat (via @ staff hi how long should i ban for this? i dont want to seem bias) if they didnt know what punishment to give due to fear of being bias.



If you as a staff, are allowing people to exploit (exploit is exploit in ur mind right?), should you be staff? If you saw someone else allowing people to exploit, would you say they should be staff? This had 10 people ingame, and you as a staff not only enabled it to happen, but also held off on reporting it in order to dramamonger for a big forums report with your friends/people in your group promoting it in chat as a ''forums event''.

I personally do not feel like you should be a staff Fabrizio, you avoided punishing this user ingame or any attempts at preventing him from continuing, not even a message hey stop doing that, so that you could make a clownshow on the forums for drama and allowed him to keep exploiting despite YOUR OWN mindset as you claim here being ''exploit is exploit, they deserve to get punished''.

 
My last point of this post:
The only other situation of this in the past was a 1 month ban based off of the fact the exploit was used for malicious intent and to raid a base and blow up entities.
"Exploit is still exploit".

Unfortunately, as for the guidelines aswell, exploit is not still exploit, and not every exploit is an insane ban. 

To all staff: How much of an advantage did Smerexy gain by using a vehicle to enter their base (that there were no entities in), and ride around in a wheelchair whilst the group were all chasing him, making no sits, and the mod doing nothing about it. How much of an advantage did Smerexy actually gain, what was his intent, and what was the effect on the players involved - they didnt seem to care until they realised they could make 3 reports in 1 night over petty shit for DRAMA, as that is all they care about from this situation, is the drama and attention involved from making these reports.

we knew from the beginning we were gonna report on forums (that alone doesn’t excuse why i didn’t punish in game. but we all thought it was best for it to go on forums, don’t worry next time i’ll ban them in a sit.)

I don't understand how you are so against any form of exploiting then watch him do it in front of you and don't do anything about it (probably because it was harmless). I for one have noticed an uptick in reports to cause drama and believe this report would have just been better handled in game especially with the large number of higher ups on at the time. +1 for a verbal and no further punishment

Also are you now saying this exploit isnt even worthy of a ban? So what REASON WOULD YOU HAVE TO NOT HANDLE IT INGAME? Fear of being called bias from a warn? Wtf is your point this shit doesnt add up.

Annex stated it very well. If you didnt want him to exploit why even interact with him while hes doing said exploit. You should have stopped him as soon as it started. 

 

Based on the guidelines and seeing that smer gained nothing from doing the exploit +1 for a verbal and no further punishment
