Why were you banned or warned?

I got banned for MRDM when 2 people followed me while I had a makeshift timebomb. It was made obvious there was a bomb counting for 30 seconds because someone and I were jokingly fighting over the ticking bomb while yelling about having a bomb. 2 people were caught in crossfire and they called their admin friend who banned me for 1 week.

Why should you be unwarned/unbanned?

I get why I should be warned for RDMx2 but I have been playing since 2021 and I didn't get warned in 3 years so I feel like he purposely tried to make small things like this have the highest warning possible. He then ignored other people MRDMing as police on rooftops and I feel like that is a reason why the admin community here have a bad reputation (look in ban logs)

So let's take a step back here. I was trying at that time to deal with the insane amounts of RDM going on including dealing with reports of you spawning a timebomb and killing two people. The problem is, is that you in turn damaged other people in the process which of whom reported you as well. Spawning a timebomb and carrying it around in a super crowded area is not the move and can easily land you a MRDM ban like it did just now.

 

RDM doesn't just count for the people you kill it also counts for the people you damage in the crossfire.

Now with all that being said and reviewing your history i'd be down to decrease your ban time or even possibly change it to a warn if you can explain why you thought it was a good idea to bring a timebomb to a crowded area.

I was running away and as said in the sit 1 of those people were fighting for the timebomb (Person who for some reason didn't die) and 2 other people followed me for an unknown reason. Like I said in the 30 second sit before you banned me I told you they followed me so I assumed they wanted to die. And you told me "That's not how it works." I mainly thought this because I and another player were yelling saying things like "I got the bomb" and "Oh shit its about to explode" in VC. I would appreciate a lower ban time and like I said I am not 100% innocent for spawning the bomb. I appreciate you taking the time to read and edit my ban time.

Thanks for admitting to what you did. I'll go ahead and reduce your ban to one day including time served. Keep this in mind though if this sort of thing happens again there will be no leniency with your ban.
