Why were you banned or warned?

No reason listed, apparently because I called some guy a pedo. LITTLE ALARMING when calling someone a pedo get's you in trouble and not them especially when they are overage and you're underage

Why should you be unwarned/unbanned?

I didn't do anything that doesn't happen every day, and I've had good even great conduct up to this point.

If my memory serves correctly, alongside what I can see in your warns, you were warned previously to not make pedo accusations, which is something that does exist in the server's rules. Pedo Accusations, regardless if they are true or not, must not be handled on the public forum. You need to contact staff about that and provide evidence to the charge.

The reason these types of accusations are handled like this is quiet simply because Pedo Accusations have a lot of weight in the public psyche, and the effect these accusations can have on people are fairly dramatic. We are not talking simple, "Haha xyz did this!" we are talking "This guy may have SA'ed or solicited a minor" which carries very serious consequences for anyone accused.

Despite that being your wishes, I still need to provide context and reason for the ban. So, while looking through the logs and going over prior warns, I found that one of our moderators,
@Starstrike The Vigil, had previously warned you for the exact thing being discussed currently. Namely the fact that you were accusing a player(s) of being pedophiles. This is why I escalated it to a 3 day ban after you kept doing the same thing.

 

Now, I don't really want to know what you are insinuating with "you people" but regardless, if you wish, the ban will stand for the 3 Days, unless other staff members wish to make their own views about the situation known.

If you were warned in the past then you clearly know better. I’m not sure why anybody would be against avoiding anything pedophilia related, but if you are, suit yourself. Bottom line is you were warned, and now you’re getting a bit more than just a warning. Please don’t repeat this behavior if you return.

So second offense in 1 day... Seems mod gave you a verbal first time instead of an actual warn.

Sorry guys, I messed up here. I banned him and then added the note for clarification, and to suggest that people should keep an eye on him. I thought I could add notes as details to a ban, but I was wrong on that. When he was on the server he went by Incredible Gassy, and was constantly punching Toilet Eggs in spawn. He kept taunting Toilet Eggs in VC, picking on him for working fast food, and he ran away from Toilet Eggs after he made the accusation too. Then I froze him for trying to run, he was complaining the whole time in VC while I froze him. It was a singular incident, and I should have made it more clear. And since Toilet Eggs claimed he was being harrassed by a bunch of in a sit, I thought he was continuing it. Harpuricle was there when I made the call, and a few other users too.  I found his behaviour despicable so I requested it to be a 3-day ban.  And if this is something that's happening every day, I won't let it happen on this server anymore, whether I see it in person or we get a report on it. At first, I told you it would have only been for a day, but then you kept complaining in VC about it. I could have requested a much longer ban on you and even warned you that you could get banned for a month if you repeated it. I still think you deserve the ban. It's only two more days.
