Lord Cursed
I provided the logs that was the reason for flextapes repeatedly breaking rules as sewer lord which makes my vote ban of him valid Link to comment https://forums.titsrp.com/topic/21319-false-vote-ban/#findComment-145938 Share on other sites
Guest
only issue im having here is i would like some sort of verification of where this occurred. Due to the fact that they do not have any job functions outside of their respective play areas, the Sewer Lord and Sharks (But not Crabs!) are not bound by NLR unless they are affecting a raid Sewer Lord is KOS inside sewers and dying by him inside sewers is not considered RDM Either way they should not have counter vote-banned you unless you were mass vote-banning at random tbh. and knowing that they are both in the same gang makes it seem fishy aswell. Guest
Hello, All that I saw today was a Sewer Lord getting vote banned for rdm so I had assumed this person was abusing the voteban system. I probably shouldn’t have jumped the gun and votebanned him back so I do apologize. I was not aware of any rule that disallowed this because I did not see this specific situation covered under the MOTD (Votebanning for a false voteban). But thank you for responding, lack of accurate context would make this report something i cant in good faith +1/-1. Either it was an accident or it was coordinated. I feel we should just call it a learning moment and leave a Note on Minat0s warns in-case this re-occurs. as i feel that is the most neutral response for this situation. Uninvolved and seeing a voteban against an RDM job could come across as abuse and most people dont try to rdm with sewer lord outside of sewers from what ive seen. -1 Punishment. +1 Warn note for reference in-case reoccurring issue. Also wasn't so much wanting a punishment more or so remove the false ban from my record, and unfortunately the logs don't show location I could have sworn it showed text chat as well but idefk. Dude was going ham on above ground. Link to comment https://forums.titsrp.com/topic/21319-false-vote-ban/#findComment-145957 Share on other sites
TapWater69
I'ma go ahead and accept this if you're ever online DM me and I'll remove the ban off your account @Lord Cursed As for @minatoI don't see the need to punish or warn him for this a simple mistake he owned up to I'll add a note to your account letting other staff know you've been talked to about vote bans/kicks Make sure you have the full details before you vote kick/ban someone if you're not involved with it don't involve yourself into the situation when you vote ban someone it gives you a opinion to export log on the person you vote ban/kick Us you're best judgment before calling a vote ban/kick on someone just in case this happens again ACCEPTED 2 Link to comment https://forums.titsrp.com/topic/21319-false-vote-ban/#findComment-145958 Share on other sites
